May We Feel Compassion

May each of us find our true path and learn from our mistakes (karma) and accept each other's evolutionary pathway and not feel, show, or express disapproval with the choices the other makes.

May we feel compassion instead of hatred, love instead of anger, and an acceptance not only of others but of ourselves as well. May each of us do all of the above in a mindful way.

I honor You as my Heavenly Father and gladly submit unto You, trusting You in all things. Please remove any trace of rebellion from my heart. I also honor my natural parents and my spiritual parents. Lord, I desire to always be respectful to the church elders and the authorities that You have designated in the earth. Deliver me from any anger against those in authority, and if I have been wronged by any of them, I am trusting that You will deal with them in the proper fashion. I want to have a heart that is submissive and trusting and free from all rebellion. I humbly ask this in the wonderful name of Jesus. Amen.

December 12

Dear Lord, You were here when I needed You. Your love engulfed me, Your Holy Spirit empowered me, and Your strength sustained me. ... Oh Lord, let me be there when You need me - to share Your love with another, to be a tower of strength in someone's weakness, to reflect You in all that I do; for how else can I praise You? How else can I show my heart's thanksgiving? How else can You know that I love You? It is not enough to praise You and say "I love You" on Sunday; it's how I live on Monday and throughout the week, isn't it? Does my life really reflect my love for You in the way I live each day?

In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen.

Christ in Us, Hope of Glory

Colossians 1:24-27

Dear Father,

Help us have the attitude of Paul, who could rejoice in suffering for the sake of your body, the church, seeing his own suffering as an extension of Christ's suffering.

May the members of the body of Christ make your word fully known, the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations but is now made visible to your holy people.

How great among the nations is the wealth imparted to them by the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in us, the hope of glory.

It is in his name that I pray. Amen.
