Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for all the good things You have given us. I am thankful to have work to do. Lord, may I always do excellent work at my job. Lord, give me the grace to take care of my physical body properly in the way I eat and how I exercise. Teach me how to make healthy choices regarding my food ,so that my body is healthy, as I need strength to do the things at my job, and in my home, and most of all, in the kingdom of God. Dear Lord, may I also keep my spirit man strong by reading the Word of God daily, and spending the necessary time in prayer to commune with You, as I desire to be like the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Lord, I pray so diligently - for others, and for myself! Yet I often concentrate so much on these "wants" that I forget to be thankful for the "haves" - for the blessings and the surprise joys of each day, for family and friends, for bird songs and beautiful sunsets, for expressions of love and opportunities to serve, for near-misses while driving - all of these are evidences of Your answers to prayers that I haven't even voiced! ... Thank You, Lord, for seeing beyond my wants. Thank You for being with me, now and always.
In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.

Colossians 3:15-17
Dear Father,
Let Christ's peace rule in our hearts. Let us be at peace in his one body. Fill our hearts and mouths with overflowing thanksgiving.
Let Christ's word dwell in us richly. Let us teach and admonish each other in all wisdom.
Let us impart grace through the songs flowing from thankful hearts.
May we do everything, whatever it is, in the name of our Lord Jesus.
We give thanks to you, our God and Father, through his name. Amen.
