“God rescued us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He’s set us up in the kingdom of the Son he loves so much, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating.” Colossians 1:13-14 The Message
What is the sound of Christmas in your life…?
It is the sound of the Jesus telling you that you are Son-loved in all the hidden places .. the darkest places .. the wounded places .. the forgotten places .. messed up places .. the confused places .. the frustrated places .. the scarred places .. the addicted places .. the unforgiving places .. the feared places .. the panic places .. the unsure places .. the depressed places .. the overlooked places .. the boring places .. the tempted places .. the unhealed places .. the unloved places .. the unlived places .. of your life. God has been making these sounds in your life since you took your first breath. Some sounds are easier to hear and some sounds take a long time to find their kingdom-tune in your heart. And yet … it only takes a moment for “God’s original purpose” to open up the sounds of Christmas in your life today. Will you let Him …?
“We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created.” Colossians 1:15 The Message
