Follow Me
If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. (Joh 12:26)

What does Jesus mean? Does he say to follow his example? Does he say to ask ourselves what he would do in our circumstances? No, he says that to serve him we must follow him.
There is only one way to follow Jesus with the simplicity of his statement. It's all about knowing him personally.
"On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'" (Mat 7:22-23)
There is only one way to follow Jesus. He is patient and his promises never fail. Eternal life is knowing him. Let's pray.
Lord, thank you for being ready and willing to walk with us. Many are the times of your faithfulness toward us when we knew nothing of your personal care. Help us to find our life by knowing you, by serving you. Teach us to seek you, to believe your promises, and to find our rest in you. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
"For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." (John 6:40)
We have God's Word on it.
