Do you spend more time on line in NA related forums than talking to addicts in RL?
Do you share more stuff on line than you do with your sponsor and close friends in RL?
If so, you may be suffering from cyber-recovery.
there is help.
put down the mouse.
turn off the computer.
pick up your phone and call an addict that lives near you.
meet them at a NA meeting.
stay for the whole meeting
go out for coffee afterwards
go home and do the same thing tomorrow.
just a note from a concerned addict who sees more and more people posting on how this site is their "recovery", or the spot that they get their "recovery" from.
This is a forum, not a meeting.
these are OL people here, not your sponsor
learn the difference between cyber-recovery and real life recovery.
it may save your life someday.
