Praise the Lord, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
( Psalms 103:20 *NIV )


Today we will look at the word angel, and learn all about
them. Now the term angel is derived from the Hebrew word
[ malak ] which means "Messenger of God." Also from the
Greek word [ angelos, ] which means "messenger." The
Bible describes four categories of angels:

(A) Winged angels, thus Cherubim and Seraphim, who
appeared to Ezekiel and Isaiah. (EZ 1:4-28; 10:3-22 and
Isaiah 6:2-6.)

(B) The Seven Archangels, without wings, of which we are
given the names of four. Those being Michael (JUDE 1;9 )
Jeremiel ( 2 Esdrus 4:36** ); Gabriel ( LUKE 1:19 ); and
Raphael ( Tobit 12:15** ) [ ** Found in the O. T. Apocrypha,
which is used for a deeper study of God's Word. ]
Also Note that they all end in (EL) which is short for "Elohim"
meaning God!

(C) Angels, again without wings, who carry a message or do
the Will of God. (GEN 19:1-22; EX 3:2-6; JUDG 2;1-5; 13:2-
23) Also those of the Heavenly entourage who worship God,
attend His Throne, or comprise God's Heavenly Army.

(D) Fallen angels, also without wings, who fell to temptation,
thus are now satan's angels. ( GEN 6:1-8; )

Often in the Old Testament angels do appear as ordinary
men. Remember the two angels who visited Lot; (GEN
19:1-26 ) Now sometimes their uniqueness is very
evident to us, as they appear clearly not human! As the
angel did to Mary at Jesus' Tomb. ( MATT 28:2-7 )

Also written in the New Testament is; Do not forget
to entertain strangers, for by so doing
some people have entertained angels
without knowing it. ( Hebrews 13:2 )
Thus angels sometime walk among us even today.

There you have it , all you want to know about

Only fear the Lord , and serve Him in
truth with all your heart; for consider
what great things He has done for you.
( 1 Samuel 12:24 *NKJV )


In this busy world it is far too easy to forget all of the
things that God has done for us. Often we take those
blessings for granted, and sometimes we even forget to
thank Him for them.

It is written; The Lord your God will keep with
you the covenant and the mercy which
He swore to your fathers. And He will love
you and bless you. ( Deuteronomy 7:12-13 )

Therefore never forget to thank Him for His
great love, and all of the blessings that He has given to
you! In fact, a great way to start each day is to spend two
minutes counting all of your blessings, and then try to
have only loving thoughts all day long. For when we do
are hearts become merry and we are walking in God's
Light, and that will make us feel even more blessed
than before!

Also remember when counting all of your
blessings, to count the biggest blessing of them all, and
that is having such a loving, caring Heavenly Father as
we do! Amen!

These things I have spoken to you, that
in Me you may have peace. In the world
you will* have tribulation; but be of good
cheer, I have overcome the world."
( John 16:33 *NKJV )


Now in this World today, there are times when we may
feel overwhelmed by what is going on all around us. After
all with terrible disasters, wars and terrorist's threats, etc
happening, it is enough to make one wonder what is
happening to this World today.

If all of these events cause you to feel overwhelmed, and the
tribulation in this World is weighing heavily on your mind,
remember that God is always with you, and these events are
unfolding as prophesied. Also remember that our Savior Jesus
Christ said, "Let not your heart be troubled; you
believe in God, believe also in Me. ( John 14:1 )
For when we put all of our trust in Jesus' hands, we will find peace
for; For he himself is our peace, .
( Ephesians 2:14 )

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble, whatever things
are just, whatever things are pure, whatever
things are lovely, whatever things are of
good report, if there is any virtue and if
there is anything praiseworthy - meditate
on these things, instead of the troubles of this World.
After all it is then that; The peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ
Jesus, and you will know true peace as you have never
known it before. Amen. (Philippians 4:7-8)

For what profit is it to a man if he gains
the whole world, and is himself destroyed
or lost?
( Luke 9:25 *NKJV )


As you already know in this World today it is very easy to
get caught up in our day to day life. We sometimes even
seem to forget how short our human life is compared to our
Eternal life! After all it is written; For what is your life? It is
even a vapor that appears for a little time and
then vanishes away. ( James 4:14 )

We even see around us many people that are so consumed
by the power of money that they have lost sight of what is
really important! For the love of money is a root of all
kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from
the faith in their greediness, and pierced them-
selves through with many sorrows.
( 1 Timothy 6:10 ) For their god has become the almighty
dollar, but when their life is over, all of their money can not
another moment buy!

As Children of God we have an even better life ahead of us!
One with Our Savior Jesus Christ, and a life where;
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor
crying. There shall be no more pain, for the
former things have passed away."
( Revelation 21:4 )

Therefore what a Blessing it is to be a Child of God! So the
next time that you count all of your blessings, be sure to add
that one as well! Amen.

Jesus taught us to say, "Give us this day our daily
bread." ( Matthew 6:11 *NKJV )


The word's "Daily Bread" refer to our spiritual food, that being
the Word of God. For; Man shall not live by bread alone;
but man lives by every word that proceeds from
the mouth of the Lord. ( Deuteronomy 8:3 )

Now, did you ever notice when reading the Scriptures how
the Word ministers to us in different ways depending on what
our current situation is? Well this is because; The Word of
God is living and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, Thus we my boldly say; Your word is
a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
( Hebrews 4:12 ) ( Psalms 119:105 )

Therefore; Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly
in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And
whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the
name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the
Father through Him. ( Colossians 3:16 )

Now you may consider this daily message a
slice of toast for your spiritual breakfast each morning. Now
you may enjoy even more by reading you Bible each day as well.
However do not worry, you may enjoy several spiritual meals a
day without gaining a single pound! So Bon Appetite, my Dear
Friend!

In closing, It is my hope that these messages bring a ray of

Children's children are a crown to the aged,
and parents are the pride of their children.

In keeping with our Saturday message, I though I might
pass this along today. I received this from one of our Subscribers.
I hope it will bring a smile to your face, and give you a good laugh
or two as well, so let us begin.....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It was Palm Sunday, and because of a sore throat, five year old Billy
stayed home from Church with a sitter. When his family returned
home they were carrying several Palm Branches. Billy asked what
they were for? His parents replied "People held them over Jesus'
head as He walked by." "Wouldn't you know it," Billy fumed, "The
one Sunday I don't go to Church, HE showed up!"

One Easter Sunday as the Minister was preaching the Children's
Sermon, he reached into his bag of props and pulled out an egg.
He pointed at the egg and asked the children, "What's in here?"
I know a little boy exclaimed, "Pantyhose!"

Little Johnny asked his Grandma how old she was. Grandma
answered, "39 and holding." Johnny thought for a moment, and
then said, "And how old would you be if you let go?"

A little boy was in a relative's wedding. As he was going down the
aisle, he would take two steps, stop, and turn to the crowd. While
facing the crowd, he would put his hands up like claws and roar.
So it went, step ROAR step, ROAR, step,, ROAR, all the way down
the aisle. As you can imagine, the crowd was near tears from
laughing so hard by the time he reached the pulpit.

When asked what he was doing, the child sniffed and said, "I was
being the Ring Bear."

One Sunday in a Midwest City, a young child was "acting up" during
the morning worship hour. The parents did their best to maintain
some sense of order in the pew but were losing the battle. Finally,
the father picked the little fellow up and walked sternly up the aisle
on his way out.

Just before reaching the safety of the foyer, the little one called
loudly to the congregation, "Pray for me! Pray for me!"

One particular four-year old prayed, "And forgive us our trash
baskets as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets."

A little boy was overheard praying: "Lord, if you can' t make me a
better boy, don't worry about it. I'm having a real good time like I am."

A Sunday School teacher asked her little children, as they were on
the way to church service, "And why is it necessary to be quiet in
church?"

One bright little girl replied, "Because people are sleeping."

A little boy opened the big and old family Bible with fascination,
looking at the old pages as he turned them. Then something
fell out of the Bible. He picked it up and looked at it closely. It
was an old leaf from a tree that has been pressed in between
the pages."Mama, look what I found," the boy called out.
"What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked. With
astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, "It's
Adam's suit."

The preacher was wired for sound with a lapel mike, and as he
preached, he moved briskly about the platform, jerking the mike
cord as he went. Then he moved to one side, getting wound up in
the cord and nearly tripping before jerking it again. After several
circles and jerks, a little girl in the third pew leaned toward her
mother and whispered, "If he gets loose, will he hurt us?"

Six-year old Angie, and her four-year old brother, Joel, were sitting
together in church. Joel giggled, sang and talked out loud.

Finally, his big sister had enough. "You're not supposed to talk out
loud in church."

"Why? Who's going to stop me?" Joel asked.

Angie pointed to the back of the church and said, "See those two
men standing by the door? They're hushers."

My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, "Grandma, do
you know how you and God are alike?" I mentally polished my halo,
while I asked, "No, how are we alike?" "You're both old," he replied.

A ten-year old, under the tutelage of her grandmother, was
becoming quite knowledgeable about the Bible. Then, one day,
she floored her grandmother by asking, "Which Virgin was the
mother of Jesus? The virgin Mary or the King James Virgin?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A Sunday school class was studying the Ten Commandments.
They were ready to discuss the last one. The teacher asked if
anyone could tell her what it was.

Susie raised her hand, stood tall, and quoted, "Thou shall not
take the covers off the neighbor's wife."

God is a friend and companion for those who love and obey
His Word. For as king David said; Your word is a lamp to my
fee and a light for my path. ( Psalms 119:105 )

After all it is written; The Lord himself goes before you
and will be with you; He will never leave you nor
forsake you. So why not spend a little time in
prayer with God each and every day. You will find Him to be
your very best Friend indeed! Amen.

Now I would now like to share a poem with you,
It is titled.....
"My Unseen Guest"

God walks the trail with me each day,
He is my Friend, My Guide
However long or steep the road,
He's ever by my side.

He sits with me in evening's hush;
We speak, we laugh, we pray,

I will give you a new heart and put a new
spirit within you; I will take the heart of
stone out of your flesh and give you a
heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within
you and cause you to walk in My statutes,
and you will keep My judgments and do
them. ( Ezekiel 36:26-27 *NKJV )



Now this verse proves that GOD did the very first
heart transplant. In fact HE has been doing transplants for
thousands of years! Even better than that, the heart that
GOD gives to us is filled with the fruit of the spirit! And;
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and
self-control. ( Galatians 5:22-23 )

Remember when you invited GOD into your life ?.
Think about how hard your life was before that day! Also
think about how your life has changed for the better since
then!

Now just in case you haven't received that new heart yet,
today would be a great day to ask GOD for it! No
appointment is needed, and HE won't leave you in the waiting
room for two hours, reading last years magazines either!
By the way you won't need health Insurance to pay for it
because is a free gift from GOD as well.

So why not ask GOD for that new heart today, if you
haven't already? For HE has said; I will give them one
heart, and I will put a new spirit within them,*
and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and
give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk
in My statutes and keep My judgments and do
them; and they shall be My people, and I will
be their God. ( EZEKIEL 11:19 )

Now may you; Grow in the grace and
knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever.
Amen. ( 2 Peter 3:18 )

No one has seen God at any time. If we
love one another, God abides in us, and
His love has been perfected in us.
( 1 John 4:12 *NKJV )


It is written; You shall love the Lord your God with
all your heart, with all your soul, with all your
mind, and with all your strength.' ( Mark 12:30 )

When we love God with all our heart, He fills us with
His great love! A love that is pure, and is known only by
those who love Him. He them expects us to share that
love with others. For it is written; My little children, let us
not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and
in truth. ( 1 John 3:18 )

We may show our love for others by doing simple acts
of kindness! After all it is written; Be kindly affectionate
to one another with brotherly love, in honor
giving preference to one another; not lagging
in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord
( Romans 12:10-11 )

We may also do that by doing simple things such as
smiling and saying "Good Morning" to those we see. Also
by letting them know that we care about them, and by being
there when they need a friend! The number of ways to show
God's Love to others is endless!

Further it is also a way to plant the seeds of faith by
showing them the way a Christian lives. After all remember;
There is joy in the presence of the angels of God
over one sinner who repents. ( Luke 15:10 )
Thus when we do that we are working for God as well!

So why not share God's Love with those you
see today and every day? You will find that even those
who do not believe, will respond to it! Why, because the
one thing that all humans desire, and can never get too
much of is Love! Amen.

Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works and glorify
your Father in heaven.
( Matthew 5:16 *NKJV )


You were once darkness, but now you are light
in the Lord. Walk as children of light. For; If we
walk in the light as He is in the light, we have
fellowship with one another, and the blood of
Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
( EPHESIANS 5:8 ) & ( 1 JOHN 1:7 )

Now how do we walk in the light? Well, your little light shines
every time you smile at someone, or do a good deed for them.
Also when you take the time to help someone in need, or share
God's Word with another. When you reach out to someone who
is suffering with pain or sorrow. Thus when, through you actions,
you show others what being a Christian is all about. Therefore,
as it is written; 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
( Matthew 19:19 )

Now if you think your little light is a dim one, well
perhaps, as I believe, our little lights are magnified in the immense
mirror of God's Love. Perhaps His reflectors are our hearts,
spreading the flame of kindness to one another. Therefore, why
not shine you light on others today? You will not only help
them but it will warm your heart as well!

In Closing, just think, "If everyone would light, just one little
candle, what a bright World this would be." Amen.

Know therefore that the Lord your God
is God; he is the faithful God, keeping
his covenant of love to a thousand
generations of those who love him and
keep his commands.
( Deuteronomy 7:9 *NIV )



Today being St Valentines Day, a day when we honor
those we love, let us not forget to honor our Heavenly
Father as well!

After all, there is no way humanly possible to measure
the love that GOD has for each of us. The Prophet
David explained it best when he wrote; Your love, O
Lord , reaches to the heavens, your
faithfulness to the skies. Your righteous-
ness is like the mighty mountains, your
justice like the great deep. O Lord , you
preserve both man and beast. How priceless
is your unfailing love! Both high and low
among men find refuge in the shadow of
your wings. ( Psalms 36:5-7 )


Therefore let us do as JESUS CHRIST taught us
when HE said, 'Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind. ( Matthew 22:37 )
For after all, The Lord watches over all who
love him but all the wicked he will
destroy. ( Psalms 145:20 )

So tell GOD how much you love HIM when you pray,
today and every day! Also thank HIM for all of the
Blessings that HE has given to you as well. Then before
you know it you will be saying, I will sing of the Lord 's
great love forever with my mouth I
will make your faithfulness known
through all generations. ( Psalms 89:1 )

Have a wonderful Valentines day, and know
that GOD smiles every time HE thinks about you, for you
are HIS Valentine Forever. Amen!

'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you
did it to one of the least of these My
brethren, you did it to Me.'
( Matthew 25:40 *NKJV )

Today I received the following story from one of our brothers'
in Christ. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I, for though
I have seen it before, it seemed perfect to share with you today.

A t-Shirt with holes in it, jeans, and no shoes was literally
Bill's wardrobe for his entire four years of college. He was
brilliant. Kind of esoteric and very, very bright. He became a
Christian while attending college. Across the street from the
campus was a well-dressed, very conservative church. They
wanted to develop a ministry to the students but were not
sure how to go about it.

One day Bill decided to go there. He walked in with no
shoes, jeans, his T-shirt, and wild hair. The service had
already started and so Bill walked down the aisle looking for a
seat. The church was completely packed and he couldn't find
a seat. By now, people were really looking a bit uncomfortable,
but no one said anything. Bill got closer and closer and closer
to the pulpit, and when he realized there were no seats, he
just sat down right on the carpet.

By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in
the air was thick. About that time, the minister realized
that from way at the back of the church, a deacon was slowly
making his way toward Bill. Now the deacon was in his
eighties, had silver-gray hair, and a three-piece suit. A godly
man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walked with
a cane and, as he started walking toward this boy, everyone
was saying to themselves that you can't blame him for what
he's going to do. How can you expect a man of his age and
of his background to understand some college kid on
the floor?

It took a long time for the man to reach the boy. The
church was utterly silent except for the clicking of the man's
cane. All eyes were focused on him. You couldn't even hear
anyone breathing. The minister couldn't even preach the
sermon until the deacon did what he had to do. And now
they saw this elderly man drop his cane on the floor. With
great difficulty, he lowered himself and sat down next to Bill,
smiles, shakes his hand, and worshiped with him so he
won't be alone.

Everyone choked up with emotion. When the minister
regained control, he said, "What I'm about to preach, you
will never remember. What you have just seen, you will
never forget."

The moral of the story, "Be careful how you live. You may
be the only Bible some people will ever read".


I asked the Lord to bless you as I prayed for you today.
To guide you and protect you as you go along your way......
His love is always with you, His promises are true, and
when we give Him all our cares, you know He will see us
through. Amen

Blessed is he whose transgressions are
forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord
does not count against him and in whose
spirit is no deceit.
( Psalms 32:1-2 *NIV )


Often people feel that they have committed a sin in the past
that can not be forgiven. A sin that is so horrible that God could
never forgiven them. This is simply not true! For; If we confess
our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive
us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
( 1 John 1:9 )

After all Jesus even forgave a thief on the cross, did He not?
( Luke 23:40-43 ) This is because when we confess our
sins and ask for forgiveness, our past sins are cleansed from the
Book of Life by the Precious Blood of our Savior Jesus Christ!
For, In him we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the
riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with
all wisdom and understanding. ( Ephesians 1:7-8 )

Therefore never feel that a sin you have committed in the
past can not be forgiven, that simply is not true! For our Savior
paid the price for the sin debt for the whole World on the cross!
So, it can be said; Who is a God like you, who pardons
sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant
of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy. You will again have
compassion on us; you will tread our sins under-
foot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of
the sea. Amen. ( Micah 7:18-19 )

An anxious heart weighs a man down,
but a kind word cheers him up.
( Proverbs 12:25 *NIV )

It is important for a Child of God to be very careful
of the words we speak! For our Savior Jesus Christ said;
"Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.
Nothing outside a man can make him 'unclean'
by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out
of a man that makes him 'unclean.'"
( Mark 7:14-15 )

It is also written; With the tongue we praise our Lord
and Father, and with it we curse men, who have
been made in God's likeness. Out of the same
mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this
should not be. ( James 3:9-10 )

So, choose your words carefully and remember
that positive words bring positive results, while negative words
always bring negative results! After all, Pleasant words are
a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing
to the bones. ( Proverbs 16:24 )

These verses bring to mind a sign posted on the wall of a
Professor of mine, many years ago. I will never forget it, for it
so perfectly described him. It read as follows:

Be careful of the words you speak,
And keep them soft and sweet!
For you never know from day to day,
Which words you'll have to eat!

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our
spirit that we are children of God.
( Romans 8:16 *NKJV )

Indeed we are God's Children for; God sent forth His Son,
born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem
those who were under the law, that we might
receive the adoption as sons. And because you
are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son
into your hearts. ( Galatians 4:4-6 )

The Apostle Paul used adoption or "son ship" to illustrate
to us, the believer's new relationship with God. For when a
person becomes a Christian, he or she gains all the privileges
and responsibilities of a Child in God's family.

One of these privileges is being lead by the Spirit. Now we
may not always feel as though we belong to God, but the Holy
Spirit is our witness! For His inward presence reminds us of
who we are and encourages us with God's love. For it is written;
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love
of God has been poured out in our hearts by the
Holy Spirit who was given to us. ( Romans 5:5 )

So, have a Wonderful Day remembering that you are
indeed a Child of God Almighty, and an heir as well. For it is also

I pray that out of his glorious riches he
may strengthen you with power through

together with all the saints, to grasp
how wide and long and high and deep is
the love of Christ.

Our Heavenly Father's love for us is tremendous for it even
reaches out to the entire World! God's love is long for it covers
us for length of our lives, and it is high for it reaches to the
height of our celebrations. His love for us is deep for it reaches
to the depths of our despair and discouragements.

God's love for us is always with us throughout all of our
experiences in this life. The Apostle Paul wrote; For I am
convinced that neither death nor life, neither
angels nor demons, neither the present nor the
future, nor any powers, neither height nor
depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be
able to separate us from the love of God that is
in Christ Jesus our Lord. ( Romans 8:38-39 )

So , when you are feeling left out or all alone,
remember that you are never without God's Love, and that
He is right there with you! For; The Lord himself goes before
you and will be with you; He will never leave you
nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be
discouraged." ( Deuteronomy 31:8 )

Therefore have a Wonderful Week, and why not pray
tonight and thank God for His never ending love! Amen.

God's love for each one of us is tremendous indeed! For
every child of His is very important to Him! So today I will share
with you something that one of our Sister's sent to me this week.
It speaks of God's Tremendous love for each of us.

To you,
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring.

He sends you a sunrise every morning.

Whenever you want to talk, He listens.

He can live anywhere in the Universe, but He chose your heart.

Now God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without
sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the
day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

So face it, He is crazy about you!

Therefore let us; Give thenks to the Lord, for He is
good; His love endures forever! Amen.
( 1 CHRONICLES 16:34 )

The righteous man leads a blameless life;
blessed are his children after him.
( Proverbs 20:7 *NIV )


we will again take a look at what children say, and see the World
through the eyes of a six year old. After all, Children's children
are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride
of their children. ( Proverbs 17:6 )

Now the following was sent to me by one of our subscribers,
and it teaches us the following lesson,
DON'T EVER TRY TO ARGUE WITH CHILDREN...

1) A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher
said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human
because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very
small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a
human; it was physically impossible.
The little girl said, "When I get to Heaven I will ask Jonah".
The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".

2) A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children
while they drew. She would occasionally walk around to see each
child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently,
she asked what the drawing was? The girl replied, "I'm drawing
God." The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God
looks like." Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing,
the girl replied, "They will in a minute."

3) A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments
with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to
"honor" thy Father and thy Mother," she asked, "is there a
commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"
Without hesitating one little boy (the oldest in his family) answered,
"Thou shall not kill."

4) One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the
dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had
several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette
head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are
some of your hairs white, Mom?" Her mother replied, "Well, every
time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one
of my hairs turns white." The little girl thought about this revelation
for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs
are white then?"

5) The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was
trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.
"Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up
and say, 'There's Jennifer; she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael. He's
a doctor.'" A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And
there's the teacher, She's dead."

For there is no difference between Jew
and Gentile - the same Lord is Lord of
all and richly blesses all who call on him,
( Romans 10:11-12 *NIV )


We all are guilty of forgetting our blessings once in a while,
and not thanking our Heavenly Father for the many blessings
that He has given to us. This is even though; From the
fullness of his grace we have all received one
blessing after another. ( John 1:16 )

Dr. Norman Vincent Peale once wrote, that if you spend
two minutes each morning counting all of your blessings,
you will find that the day will turn out well! So why not try
that today, and while you are counting them remember to
thank God for them. After all through Him all our blessings
flow indeed!

Therefore; Thanks be to God for his indescribable
gift! ( 2 Corinthians 9:15 ) and when you thank Him
make sure that you are; always giving thanks to God
the Father for everything, in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ. ( EPHESIANS 5:20 )

Now have a wonderful week and may; The
Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make
his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give
you peace." Amen. ( Numbers 6:24-26 )

Be kind and compassionate to one
another, forgiving each other, just
as in Christ God forgave you.
( Ephesians 4:32 *NIV )

It is easy for us to ask God for forgiveness, but we often
find it very difficult to forgive others. Therefore when you
find yourself angry with someone and thinking about revenge,
remember that it is written; Do not take revenge, my
friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is
written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"
says the Lord. ( ROMANS 12:19 )

After all our Savoir Jesus Christ gave us this warning as well;
For if you forgive men when they sin against you,
your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if
you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will
not forgive your sins. ( Matthew 6:14-15 )

Therefore; Forget the former things do not
dwell on the past. ( Isaiah 43:18 ) For the
past is gone and no one can change it anyway! All we
can do is make today the best that we can by forgiving our
enemies, just as God has forgiven us!.

So why not make peace with those who may have
angered you, remembering the Words of our Savior Jesus
Christ; Blessed are the peacemakers for they will
be called sons of God. Amen. ( Matthew 5:9 )

Wait on the Lord ; Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait,
I say, on the Lord!
( Psalms 27:14 *NKJV )


As we all know, there are times in this life when we
become discouraged, and feel like giving up on a person,
place or thing. Then that causes us to lose confidence
in ourselves.

Therefore when you are facing such a situation do not
give up, but turn to; Him who is able to do
exceedingly abundantly above all that
we ask or think, according to the power
that works in us. ( Ephesians 3:20 )
For it is important that you; Do not cast away your
confidence, which has great reward.
( Hebrews 10:35 )

So do not give up or become discouraged!
Instead ask for God's help and wait on His timing, and
if it still doesn't happen, know that He has something or
someone even better planned for you! For you may; Be
confident of this very thing, that He who
has begun a good work in you will
complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
( Philippians 1:6 )

Therefore; To Him be glory in the Church by
Christ Jesus to all generations, forever
and ever. Amen. ( Ephesians 3:21 )

will be called sons of God.
( Matthew 5:9 *NIV )


Now everytime I read that verse I think of a magnificent
prayer that hangs on the wall over my computer. It also
reminds me of the words of our Savior Jesus Christ, for He
said; Peace I leave with you; my peace I give
you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do
not be afraid. ( John 14:27 )

Therefore I pray that; The peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your
hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, and
make you an instrument of God's Peace as well!

Now, I will share with you the magnificent prayer
that I mentioned. It is called the:

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your Peace!
Where there is hatred -let me sow love,
Where there is injury-pardon,
Where there is doubt-faith,
Where there is despair-hope,
Where there is darkness-light,
Where there is sadness-joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so
much seek to be consoled-as to console,
To be understood-as to understand,
To be loved-as to love,
For it is in giving-that we receive,
It is in pardoning-that we are pardoned,

The Lord is my strength and my shield;

Those are the words of King David, but they hold
true for us today as well! For it is written; He gives
power to the weak And to those who have
no might He increases strength.
(Isaiah 40:29)

We also have God's Promise that; When you pass
through the waters, I will be with you; And
through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not
be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
( Isaiah 43:2 ) For; The righteous is delivered
from trouble And it comes to the wicked
instead. ( Proverbs 11:8 )

Therefore, when you are feeling weak or having
problems, and are in need of help; Cast your burden on
the Lord , And He shall sustain you He shall never
permit the righteous to be moved. For; As for God,
His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven
He is a shield to all who trust in Him. Amen.
( Psalms 55:22 ) & ( 2 Samuel 22:31)

Today I will share with you something I recently received for one of our Sisters-In-Christ. Watch the spelling as it is printed just as it was written. I hope it will bring a smile to your face, and a laugh or two as well

A child was asked to write a book report on the entire Bible, and here it is.....

The Children's Bible in a Nutshell

In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one, but I think He must be a lot older than that.
Anyway, God said, 'Give me a light!' and someone did.
Then God made the world.
He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet.
Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden.....Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars.

Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel.
Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah, who lived to be like a million or something.
One of the next important people was Noah, who was a good guy, but one of his kids was kind of a Ham. Noah built a large boat and put his family and some animals on it. He asked some other people to join him, but they said they would have to take a rain check.

After Noah came Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob was more famous than his brother, Esau, because Esau sold Jacob his birthmark in exchange for some pot roast. Jacob had a son named Joseph who wore a really loud sports coat.
Another important Bible guy is Moses, whose real name was Charlton Heston. Moses led the Israel Lights out of Egypt and away from the evil Pharaoh after God sent ten plagues on Pharaoh's people. These plagues included frogs, mice, lice, bowels, and no cable.

God fed the Israel Lights every day with manicotti. Then he gave them His Top Ten Commandments. These include: don't lie, cheat, smoke, dance, or covet your neighbor's stuff.
Oh, yeah, I just thought of one more: Humor thy father and thy mother.
One of Moses' best helpers was Joshua who was the first Bible guy to use spies. Joshua fought the battle of Geritol and the fence fell over on the town.

After Joshua came David. He got to be king by killing a giant with a slingshot. He had a son named Solomon who had about 300 wives and 500 porcupines. My teacher says he was wise, but that doesn't sound very wise to me.
After Solomon there were a bunch of major league prophets. One of these was Jonah, who was swallowed by a big whale and then barfed up on the shore.

There were also some minor league prophets, but I guess we don't have to worry about them.
After the Old Testament came the New Testament. Jesus is the star of The New. He was born in Bethlehem in a barn. (I wish I had been born in a barn too, because my mom is always saying to me, 'Close the door! Were you born in a barn?' It would be nice to say, 'As a matter of fact, I was.')

During His life, Jesus had many arguments with sinners like the Pharisees and the Democrats.
Jesus also had twelve opossums.

The worst one was Judas Asparagus. Judas was so evil that they named a terrible vegetable after him.
Jesus was a great man. He healed many leopards and even preached to some Germans on the Mount.
But the Democrats and all those guys put Jesus on trial before Pontius the Pilot. Pilot didn't stick up for Jesus. He just washed his hands instead.

Anyways, Jesus died for our sins, then came back to life again. He went up to Heaven but will be back at the end of the Aluminum. His return is foretold in the book of Revolution.
