Sponsor question?????

Yea.. I want to get a new sponsor and I have a person in mind but when I ran into him at the drug store today.. he totally ignored me.. like I wasn't there!! What up with that?? Heck I saw him at the meeting the day before and we spoke for a bit.. I have no idea what to say about that??

Why didn't you say hi? I know I don't say hi to anyone outside of meetings unless they speak to me first, as to not give up anonymity of theirs. I give them the choice. I am okay with people speaking to me outside of meetings, but not everyone is. Best bet is to ask him when you see him in a meeting.

That's a good question and I really don't know why I didn't. I think I gave him the choice but I was used to meeting people from my old home group and we would talk it up big time outside of the meeting.
