Loved
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23)

People are not little specks of insignificance. You are significant because each and every one of us is loved personally by God. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you" (Jer 1:5) You can say in truth, "The Son of God loved me and gave himself for me." (see Gal 2:20)
Does he say, "Look, I have ninety-nine sheep... what difference does losing one matter"? No, no, no, no, never!!! Indeed, the Good Shepherd goes looking for the one sheep who is lost. Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, thank you for loving us and giving your life for each one of us. Thank you for sending your Spirit to live in us- to guide us and transform us in your love. You are our hope, Friend of Sinners. Let me walk with you and know you more today. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. (1John 4:16)
We have God's Word on it.
