And Jesus said; He who has seen Me has
seen the Father.
( John 14:9 *NKJV )

Jesus Christ called Himself many different names in the Gospels.
The names He used pointed to special roles He was ready to
fulfill for people. Some of the names refer back to the Old
Testament promises of the predicted Messiah. Others were ways
to help people understand Him. So today we will take a look at the
Names that Jesus used to refer to Himself in the Gospel Of John.

"SON OF MAN" Reference: JOHN 6:27
This was Jesus' favorite reference to himself. It emphasized
His humanity, but the way He used it, it was a claim to divinity
as well!
"I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE" JOHN 6:35
Refers to His life-giving role. That He is the only way to our
Eternal life.
"I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD" JOHN 8:12
The sun is the physical light of the World, and Jesus is the
Spiritual light of the World. As the light of the world, Jesus
exposes sin and gives sight.
"I AM THE DOOR FOR THE SHEEP" JOHN 10:7
Jesus is the only way into God's Kingdom.
"I AM THE GOOD SHEPERD" JOHN 10:11
With this name Jesus appropriated the prophetic images of the
Messiah pictured in the Old Testament. This is a claim to
divinity, focusing on Jesus' love and guidance.
"I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE"
JOHN 11:25
Not only is Jesus the source of life, He is also the power over
death!
"I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE"
JOHN 14:6
Jesus is the method, the message, and the meaning for all
people. With this title He summarized His purpose in coming
to earth.
"I AM THE VINE" JOHN 15:1
This title has an important second part, "YOU ARE THE
BRANCHES." As in so many of His other names, Jesus reminds
us that just as branches gain life from the vine and cannot live
apart from it, we also are dependent on Jesus for eternal life!

Note the seven names with "I AM" listed here. God had revealed
Himself to Moses with a resounding "I AM" [ EXODUS 3:14 ]
Now Jesus was using the same words to describe Himself!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks; for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
( 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 *NKJV )

We are to rejoice even when one of our prayers isn't
answered the way we want. Now that may seem hard to do
but when we realize that God knows what is best for us, it
becomes easier to understand! For some of our prayers,
if answered, could cause us much grief in the long run. After
all only He knows what the future holds, and what is best for
us!

So; Be anxious for nothing, but in everything
by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
( Philippians 4:6 ) because; The effective, fervent
prayer of a righteous man avails much.
( James 5:16 )

Now there is also an added benefit to your
prayers, for they will lead you to a greater communion with
God, and a much greater understanding of His will for you
as well!
AND SPEAKING OF PRAYER,
I said a prayer for you today,
And I know God must have heard;
I felt the answer in my heart,
Although He spoke not a word.
I didn't ask for wealth or fame,
( I knew you wouldn't mind; )
I asked for priceless treasures rare,
Of a more lasting kind.
I prayed that He'd be near to you,
At the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings fair,
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you,
In all thing great and small,
But that you'd know His loving care,
I prayed most of all. Amen.

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us
with benefits, the God of our salvation!
( Psalms 68:19 *NKJV )

God provides all of our needs, and is always with us as
well. For when we are afraid; The name of the Lord is
a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
( Proverbs 18:10 )

When we are broken hearted; He heals the broken-
hearted and binds up their wounds. ( Psalms 147:3)
For; The Lord is near to those who have a broken
heart. ( Psalms 34:18 )

When we need help because of trouble, know that;
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And
delivers them out of all their troubles.
For, The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of
trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
( Psalms 34:17 ) & ( Nahum 1:7 )

Also if you are depressed; Cast your cares on the
Lord and he will sustain you; He will never let
the righteous fall. ( Psalms 55:22 )

Further God showers us with His Love, for God
demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while
we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ( Romans 5:8 )
For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.
( John 3:16 )

So have a Wonderful Day, and know that you
are in good hands with God in charge of your life! Amen.

Do not be conformed to this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that you may prove what is that
good and acceptable and perfect will
of God. ( Romans 12:2 *NKJV )

Do not let this World's values and moral standards take
charge of your thinking. Instead let the Holy Spirit direct
your thinking, by renewing your mind. For them you will be
able to understand what God's Will for your life is!

After All, it is when we start following God's Will for us that
we become filled with God's Love, Hope, Faith and Peace!
Also we become a new person, the person we were meant to
be. The Apostle Paul best described this when he wrote;
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
( 2 Corinthians 5:17 )

So, Set your minds on things above, not on
earthly things. ( Colossians 3:2 ) So; that you may
become blameless and harmless, children of God
without fault in the midst of a crooked and
perverse generation, among whom you shine as
lights in the world. ( Philippians 2:15 )

Now "shine on" my friend, and may; The grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

They're Back! More Church Bulletin Bloopers:

It is written; If I say,'I will forget my
complaint, I will change my expression,
and smile.'
( Job 9:27 * NIV )

We all have days when we feel overwhelmed with life's
many problems. However complaining about then doesn't
change a thing! So why not smile instead of complain, for
it is said; "Smile and the whole World smiles with you, frown
and you frown alone!"

Now what better way to find a smile than to laugh with joy.
So enjoy today's message, and let it be said; "Our mouths
were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs
of joy. For; The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy. ( Psalms 126:2-3 )

Therefore, today's message is one that was sent to
us by one of our Dear Subscribers. It will bring a smile, as well
as, a laugh or two. It contains words that were found in Church
Bulletins. So Thank God for Church ladies with typewriters, for
these sentences actually appeared in Church Bulletins or were
announced in Church Services. So sit back and let us begin.....

The word of the Lord endures forever."
Now this is the word which by the
gospel was preached to you.
( 1 peter 1:25 )

When we think of those who brought about the success of
the early church, we often think of the work of the Apostles.
However if it hadn't been for the work of unsung heroes the
early church may not have survived! Those men and women
who through some small but significant act, moved the church
forward. So today we will take a look at some of those unsung
heroes, and the roles that they played!

***A Crippled Man. Book of Acts 3:9-12...
When all the people saw him walking and praising
God, they recognized him as the same man who
used to sit begging at the temple gate called
Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and
amazement at what had happened to him.
( Acts 3:9-10 )

After he was healed, he praised God. This caused a crowd
to gather to see what was happening. Peter used that
opportunity to tell many about Jesus.

***Five Men Selected By The Apostles To Become Deacons.
Book of Acts 6:2-7...

This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose
Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit;
also Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas,
and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism.
They presented these men to the apostles, who
prayed and laid their hands on them. So the word
of God spread. The number of disciples in
Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number
of priests became obedient to the faith.
( Acts 6:5-7 *NIV )

Everyone has heard of Stephen and many know Philip, but
what about Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and
Nicholas. Those unsung heroes not only laid the foundation
for service in the church, but their hard work also gave the
Apostles the time they needed to preach the Gospel.

***Ananias Book of Acts 9:10-19...
He was given the responsibility of being the first to
Show Christ's love to Paul after his conversion.

***Cornelius Book of Acts 10:30-35...
His example showed Peter that the gospel was for all
mankind, Jews as well as Gentiles.

***Rhoda Book of Acts12:13-15...
Her persistence brought Peter inside Mary's house where
He would be safe.

***James Book of Acts 15:13-21...
"It is my judgment, therefore, that we
should not make it difficult for the Gentiles
who are turning to God.
( Acts 15:19 )
James took command of the Jerusalem council and had the
courage to help form a decision that would affect literally
millions of Christians over many generations.

***Lydia Book of Acts 16:13-15...
She opened her house to Paul, from which he led many to
Christ and founded the church at Philippi.

***Jason Book of Acts 17:5-9...
He risked his life for the Gospel by allowing Paul to stay in
His house. He is a wonderful example of standing up for
What is right, even though he faced persecution for it.

***Paul's Nephew Book of Acts 23:16-24...
He saved Paul's life by telling the officials of a murder plot.

***Julius Book of Acts 27:1, & 43.
He spared Paul when the other soldiers wanted to kill him.

There you have some of the unsung heroes written about
in the Book of Acts. It is my hope that you will read all the
verses relating to each one, for without them we might not
have a Church today.

Have a wonderful Sunday, and may God Richly Bless
You!

Seek first the kingdom of God and His
righteousness, and all these things
shall be added to you.
( Matthew 6:33 *NKJV )

Trying to keep up with those who seem to have it all, may
easily cause you to lose focus on what is really important! After
all, many people do evil things to gain large sums of money,
and even seem to get away with it as well.

As God's Children we should; Trust in the Lord, and
do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His
faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your
heart. ( Psalms 37:3-4 )

Therefore, Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb. ( Psalms 37:1-2 )
For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who
wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.
( Psalms 37:9 )

So, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything
by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let
your requests be made known to God; and the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ
Jesus. Amen ( Philippians 4:6-7 )

Now, relax and enjoy your day, for God is smiling
down upon you right now!

For I am persuaded that neither death
nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor
powers, nor things present nor things to
come, nor height nor depth, nor any other
created thing, shall be able to separate
us from the love of God which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:38-39 *NKJV)

God fills us with His love, and He wants us to share that
great love with others. So; Beloved, let us love one
another, for love is of God; and everyone who
loves is born of God and knows God. He who
does not love does not know God, for God is love.
( 1 John 4:7-8 )

So why not show your love for others each and every day.
After all, it's written; You shall not take vengeance,
nor bear any grudge against the children of your
people, but you shall love your neighbor as your-
self: I am the Lord. ( Leviticus 19:18 )

Now you can do that by being a good friend, and lending a
hand when someone is in need. It is also as simple as smiling
and saying hello to everyone you meet, and asking them how
their day is going. Therefore let your love light shine brightly.
Yes indeed, Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works and glorify
your Father in Heaven. ( Matthew 5:16 )

Most important of all, remember what Jesus said, You
shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, with all your mind, and with
all your strength.' This is the first commandment.
And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.' There is no other
commandment greater than these."
For then when you do, God will fill you with the same amount
of His Love in return! Amen. ( Mark 12:30-31 )

Have a Wonderful Day, and please don't wait
until Next St.Valentine's Day to show your love for others!

God so loved the world that he gave his
one and only Son,f that whoever believes
in him shall not perish but have eternal
life. ( John 3:16 *NIV )

Today we remember all of those who have lost their lives
or became wounded because of the shootings that occurred
in Alabama and Germany yesterday, knowing that;
The souls of the righteous are in the hands of God,
and no torment will ever touch them. In the eyes
of the foolish they seem to have died, and their
departure was thought of as a disaster, their going
from us to be their destruction; but they are at peace.

Therefore, today, I would like to dedicate this message in
remembrance of those who have lost their lives yesterday in
those two tragedy's. I would also like to share a poem with
you in their honor. A poem whose author remains unknown!

I'M FREE

Don't grieve for me for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

But be not burdened with times of sorrow,
For I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full. I've savored much,
Good friends, good times and loved ones'
touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me.
God wanted me now. He set me free!

Finally, let us bow our heads and say a prayer
for the victims of these two horrible tragedy's, and for their
loved ones as well. Amen

He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities; The
chastisement for our peace was upon
Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
( Isaiah 53:5 *NKJV )

Indeed we are healed of our transgressions, and iniquities
through the forgiveness of our sins. For it is written; He has
delivered us from the power of darkness and
conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of
His love, in whom we have redemption through
His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
( Colossians 1:13-14 )

When we think about how much forgiveness God shows
toward mankind, let us remember the words of our Savior
Jesus Christ, as he hung on the cross, "Father, forgive
them, for they do not know what they do."
So let those words be an example for you when you find yourself
angry with another! ( Luke 23:34 )

After all it is also written; "For if you forgive men
their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also
forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive
your trespasses. ( Matthew 6:14-15 )

So , if you have been angered by another, why
not try to forgive them instead of holding a grudge. After all
your heart and mind will be at peace when you do! Amen.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR FATHER'S HOUSE.

Make a Right onto Believeth Blvd. Keep straight and go through
the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ. There, you must turn onto
the Bridge of Faith, which is over troubled water.

Now when you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and Keep
Straight. You are on the King's Highway - Heaven-bound.
Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son,
and One for the Holy Spirit.

Then take the Grace Blvd exit. From there, make a Right turn
on Gospel Lane. Keep Straight and then make another Right on
Prayer Road. As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on
Temptation Ave. Also, avoid SIN STREET because it is a DEAD
END. Pass up Envy Drive, and Hate Avenue. Also, pass
Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane, and Backbiting Blvd.

However, you will have to go down Long-suffering Lane,
Persecution Blvd. and Trials and Tribulations Ave, but that's all
right, because VICTORY Street is straight ahead! AMEN!

Now , send these directions to your friends so they
will not get lost, for it would be a shame for them to miss the

A man's wisdom gives him patience;
it is to his glory to overlook an offense.
( Proverbs 19:11 * NIV )

Sometimes we may let the actions of another cause
us to lose control of our temper. Before we do, it is
important to remember that; An angry man stirs
up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits
many sins. ( Proverbs 29:22 ) For as churning
the milk produces butter, and as twisting the
nose produces blood, so stirring up anger
produces strife." ( Proverbs 30:33 )

After all, My dear brothers, take note of this:
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak
and slow to become angry, 20 for man's anger
does not bring about the righteous life that God
desires. ( James 1:19-20 )

So the next time that someone treats you wrongly turn it
over to God to handle, and do not lose your temper or try
to get even with them. For we know him who said, "It is
mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The
Lord will judge his people." ( Hebrews 10:30 )

Therefore , try your best to keep your words soft
and sweet. For we never know from day to day which words
we'll have to eat! Also remember; Above all, love
each other deeply, because love covers over a
multitude of sins. Amen ( 1 Peter 4:8 )

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and
you will find; knock and the door will be
opened to you. For everyone who asks
receives; he who seeks finds; and to him
who knocks, the door will be opened.
( Luke 11:9-10 *NIV )

Those are the words of our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus
also said; If you remain in me and my
words remain in you, ask whatever
you wish, and it will be given you.
( John 15:7 )

Now these verses do not mean that everything we
may ask for will be given to us, but do mean that if it is
God's Will for us it will happen! After all we may ask
for something that would hurt us in the end, for we
have no way of knowing the future.

So when you pray do not be afraid to ask God for
something that you desire, knowing that He who knows
all is looking out for you. For God has said; Then
you will call upon me and come and
pray to me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me when
you seek me with all your heart.
( Jeremiah 29:12-13 )

Also do not think that God has abandoned you if a prayer
isn't answered the way you would like. After all, in time
you may look back on that prayer request and say, "Thank
goodness, God Didn't Answer That One!"

Therefore never lose hope when you pray
for it is written; The prayer of a righteous
man is powerful and effective.(James 5:16)
So; Pray continually; give thanks in all
circumstances, for this is God's will for you
in Christ Jesus. Amen. ( 1 Thessalonians
5:17-18 )

The Lord is my light and my salvation —
whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strong
hold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?
( Psalms 27:1 *NIV )

Do not let the events of the World today, or the in the future,
cause you any fear. For it is written; The Lord himself
goes before you and will be with you; he will never
leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not
be discouraged." ( Deuteronomy 31:8 )

After all, If you make the Most High your dwelling
even the Lord, who is my refuge then no harm will
befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you to
guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in
their hands, so that you will not strike your foot
against a stone. ( Psalms 91:9-12 )

Therefore, when you lie down, you will not be
afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
For; The Lord's curse is on the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.
( Proverbs 3:25,33 )

So, Be strong and courageous. Do not

( Ecclesiastes 3:1 )

So today I would like to share a poem with you. One that
I hope you will enjoy as much as I do. It is titled:

All Is Well
The virgin white of Winter
Now wears a shawl of green
For all the trees are budding
And flowers can be seen.

The snow that chilled us yesterday
Has melted like a dream
For now the stone is rolled away
Beneath the sunlight's gleam.

How sweet the sound of Spring
As songbirds now return,
And here below the rainbow
Earth makes another turn.

For Spring's a noble season,
One of show and tell,
When God reveals His Majesty
And shows us all is well.

Jesus Christ said; "Whoever acknowledges me

( Matthew 10:32-33 *NIV )

The Bible tells us to have an answer for why you
believe for those who ask you. The following is a good example of
an answer to one of the most common reasons people give for
ignoring God and His Goodness.

The following was sent to me by one of our subscriber's.
It is called:
"God Exists!"

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut
as always. He began to have a good conversation with the barber
who attended him. They talked about so many things and various
subjects.

Suddenly, they touched on the subject of God. The barber said:
"Look man, I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.

Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize
that God does not exist. Oh, tell me, if God exists, would there
be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children?
If God exists, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of
loving a God who permits all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but he didn't respond
because he did not want to start an argument. The barber finished
his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barber
shop, he saw a man in the street with long hair and a beard that
was very long as well, one could tell that it had been a long time
since he had his hair cut. He also looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer entered the barber shop again and he said to the
barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the surprised barber."
I am here and I am a barber. Why I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist, because if
they did there would be no people with long hair and beard like
that man who is outside."

"Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people sometimes do
not come to them."

"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God does
exist. What happens is people don't go to Him and do not look
for Him. That's why there is so much suffering and hardship in
this world today." Amen.

Do not worry about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of
its own.
( Matthew 6:34 *NIV )

Now I ask you, Who of you by worrying can add
a single hour to his life? ( Matthew 6:27 )
In fact, some studies even show that worry may actually
shorten our life!

Therefore instead of worrying; Cast all your anxiety
on him because he cares for you.
( 1 Peter 5:7 ) For then; when you lie down, you
will not be afraid; when you lie down, your
sleep will be sweet.
( Proverbs 3:24 )

After all what is worry anyway, but the opposite of faith!
So, have faith and always turn your worries over to
God! Then you will be able to say with confidence.....

"Why Worry About Tomorrow?"

Why worry about tomorrow
And the rising of the sun,
Of anguish over past mistakes
That cannot be undone?

Why waste life's precious moments
On things that bruise the heart
When today is ours to fashion
Into a work of art?

Today comes but once, my friend,
It never can return--
So use it wisely while you can,
There's a lesson you may learn.

Let history record the past
And tomorrow come what may.
Be content to do your best
With what you have today!

Man shall not live by bread alone; but
man lives by every word that proceeds
from the mouth of the Lord.
( Deuteronomy 8:3 *NKJV )

Just as we need bread to feed our human bodies, we need
the Word of God to feed our spiritual bodies as well.

Now it is written that Jesus Christ is the Word of God! For;
the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and
we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
( John 1:14 )

It is also written that Jesus Christ said; "Whoever drinks
of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks
of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.
But the water that I shall give him will become in
him a fountain of water springing up into
everlasting life." ( John 4:13-14 )

So always keep your eyes on our Savoir Jesus
Christ, always remembering that Jesus said, "I am the
bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never
hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never
thirst. ( John 6:35 )

Now it is my hope that these messages provide your
Spiritual Body with a good breakfast each morning! If so, I
have accomplished the mission that God gave me to do.
Amen.

Pride goes before destruction, And
a haughty spirit before a fall. Better
to be of a humble spirit with the
lowly, Than to divide the spoil with
the proud.
( Proverbs 16:18-19 *NKJV )

Destructive pride can be a major stumbling block in your
Christian walk! We are as God's Children to be of a humble
spirit. For it is written; "God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble."
( 1 Peter 5:5 ) It is also written; For this is what
the high and lofty One says he who lives
forever, whose name is holy: "I live in a
high and holy place, but also with him who
is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive
the spirit of the lowly and to revive the
heart of the contrite. ( Isaiah 57:15 )

Now our Savior Jesus Christ, speaking of entering the
Kingdom of Heaven said; Indeed there are those
who are last who will be first, and first who
will be last." ( Luke 13:30 ) Also Jesus' brother
wrote; He gives more grace. Therefore He
says: "God resists the proud, But gives
grace to the humble." ( James 4:6 )

So always; Therefore humble your-
selves under the mighty hand of God, that
He may exalt you in due time, casting all
your care upon Him,for He cares for you.
Amen. ( 1 Peter 5:6-7 )

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently
for Him;
( PSALM 37:7 *NKJV )

In this World today patience is hard to find. After all,
we have become accustomed to instant everything, from
T V dinners to instant mail via computer. Thus patience
has almost become a lost art today!

It is important to remember that patience is a virtue.
So whatever you try to accomplish, do it with hard work
and patience. For true accomplishments do not occur
easily or instantly! For it is written; Do not become
sluggish, but imitate those who through
faith and patience inherit the promises.
( Hebrews 6:12 )

So , always put your trust in the Lord, work hard,
and have patience. For the only place where "success"
comes before "work" is in Webster's Dictionary! Also
remember that through the patience of many a great man
or woman, truly wonderful things have been developed to
improve our lives today!

Therefore; Now may the God of patience
and comfort grant you to be like-minded
toward one another, according to Christ
Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and
one mouth glorify the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ. And; Lord direct
your hearts into the love of God and into
the patience of Christ. and may you have a great
week as well. Amen. ( ROMANS 15:5-6 ) &

But you are a shield around me, O Lord;
you bestow glory on me and lift upmy head.
( Psalms 3:3 *NKJV )

When your life becomes filled with anxiety and
confusion, and you become concerned about the events in
your life, turn to our Savior Jesus Christ! For He has said;
"I have told you these things, so that in me
you may have peace. In this World you
will have trouble. But take heart! I have
overcome the World." ( John 16:33 )

After all Jesus' never abandons us, or leaves us to struggle
alone! For it is witten; Therefore we can always
call on God in even the most troublesome
times, for He is always with us!
( Hebrews 13:5 )

After all; The Lord will guide you always;
He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched
land and will strengthen your frame. You will
be like a well-watered garden, like a spring
whose waters never fail. ( Isaiah 58:11 )

Also remember that when confusion, worry and fear
enter your life, it is not from God but from satan. For
it is written that; God is not the author of
confusion but of peace. ( 1 Corinthians 14:33 )

So Be anxious for nothing, but
in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made
known to God. ( Philippians 4:6 )

"Blessed are they whose transgressions
are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord
will never count against him."
( Romans 4:7-8 *NKJV )

The Apostle Paul once said ; For what I do is not the
good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do
this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not
want to do, it is no longer I who do it,
( Romans 7:19 & 24 ) After all, to remain sinless was
a struggle for him, as well as, the rest of the Apostle's! For sin
has always been a struggle for mankind ever since the days
of Adam and Eve!

Therefore when we slip and sin it is very important to ask our
Heavenly Father to forgive us. For it is written; If we confess
our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us
our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Thus we become cleansed and forgiven from our
past sins, and that includes all of them!
( 1 John 1:9)

After all it is written; "Come now, let us reason
together," says the Lord. "Though your sins are
like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson, they shall be
like wool. ( Isaiah 1:18 )

So, just be the very best person that you can be, and
if you slip and sin once in a while, do not think that God doesn't
love you anymore. For no one is perfect, however once there
was One, sinless and blameless, and filled with love, and they
Crucified Him.....

Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy. Then it
was said among the nations, "The Lord
has done great things for them."
( Psalms 126:2 )

Dear Jan,
The following message was sent to me by one of our
Sister's-In-Christ. I hope it will start your Saturday with a
smile and a laugh or two, as we usually do on Saturday's.
So let us enjoy:
"Some Christian Humor ..."
========

There was a very gracious lady who was mailing an old family
Bible to her brother in another part of the country. "Is there
anything breakable in here?" asked the postal clerk. "Only the
Ten Commandments." Answered the lady.

========

Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the
world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say,
"Good morning, Lord," and there are those who wake up in the
morning and say, "Good Lord, it's morning."

========

A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city
because he was short of time and couldn't find a space with a
meter. Then he put a note under the windshield wiper that read:
"I have circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss
my appointment. Forgive us our trespasses."

When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along
with this note "I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give
you a ticket I'll lose my job. "Lead us not into temptation."

========

There is the story of a pastor who got up one Sunday and
announced to his congregation: "I have good news and bad
news. The good news is, we have enough money to pay for our
new building program. The bad news is, it's still out there in
your pockets."

========

While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish
carriage. The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of
humor, because attached to the back of the carriage was a
hand printed sign... "Energy efficient vehicle: Runs on oats and
grass. Caution: Do not step in exhaust."

========

A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with a question,
"Boys and girls, what do we know about God?" A hand shot
up in the air. "He is an artist!" said the kindergarten boy.
"Really? How do you know?" the teacher asked. "You know -
Our Father, who does art in Heaven... "

========

A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas just
before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly,
but there were many cars ahead of him. Finally, the attendant
motioned him toward a vacant pump. "Reverend," said the
young man, "I'm so sorry about the delay. It seems as if
everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip."

The minister chuckled, "I know what you mean. It's the same
in my business."

========

A father was approached by his small son who told him proudly,
"I know what the Bible means!" His father smiled and replied,
"What do you mean, you 'know' what the Bible means?" The son
replied, "I do know!" "Okay," said his father. "What does the
Bible mean?" "That's easy, Daddy." The young boy replied
excitedly, "It stands for 'Basic Information Before Leaving
Earth.'"

========

Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter
what the lesson was about. The daughter answered, "Don't be
scared, you'll get your quilt."

Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed. Later in the day, the
Pastor stopped by for tea and the Mom asked him what that
morning's Sunday school lesson was about. He said "Be not
afraid, thy comforter is coming."

========

Give me a sense of humor, Lord,
Give me the grace to see a joke,
To get some humor out of life,
And pass it on to other folk! Amen.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

God will meet all your needs according to
His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
( Philippians 4:19 )

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he
leads me beside quiet waters,

Whether you turn to the right or the left,
your ears will hear a voice behind you,
saying, "This is the way; walk in it."
( Isaiah 30:21 )

He restores my soul. He guides me in paths
of righteousness for his name's sake.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light
for my path. ( Psalm 119:105 )

Even though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are
with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort
me.

When you pass through the waters, they
will not sweep over you. When you walk
through fire, you will not be burned; the
flames will not set you ablaze.
( Isaiah 43:2 )

You prepare a table before me in the presence
of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Praise be to the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in
the spiritual realms with every spiritual
blessing in Christ. For He chose us in
Him before the creation of the World to
be holy and blameless in His sight.
( Ephesians 1:3-4 )

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the
days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of
the Lord forever.

For God so loved the World that He gave
His one and only son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have
eternal life. ( John 3:16 )
