I really like this. My experience was when I finally got sober this last time I around, I knew I didn't want to drink or drug any more because I couldn't live with the consequences. But I sat around for a while without doing anything to change myself. I was the same person just without drugs and alcohol. I was miserable. I didn't get clean to be miserable. I might as well drink and drug. The solution for me was to work the steps. They were a guildeline for a new life. A way to look at myself and change myself on the inside. I am a much happier person today. I learn how to live life, how to live with myself, how to like myself and how to handle life on life's terms. What a difference!
