It didn't take long to feel like 'family' here for me. I needed that for my recovery, as well as my local NA and AA groups.

Gotta love Google, that's how I ended up here too. I tend to lurk on boards too, but right now I'm fighting withdrawals so this is really helpful for keeping my mind occupied...God bless this board!

I am here because the last physical meeting ended at 1:02am Sunday morning, the folks left the diner (the after meeting meeting) at 2:50am (maybe it is 3:50am now HA HA).
My addiction wants to talk to me in subtle tones and I need a little more than prayer at the moment. A few jokes from other areas at this site ... some honest sharing by fellowship members ... and getting 5 minutes away from that "other voice" and I can go off to sleep.
