Another day, still no bed. What the heck is the point of scheduling a day to go inpatient if they keep not letting me come in. What do you have to do to get help....od? Anyone else have this problem with getting into treatment. We are going through our savings staying in a $100 a night hotel waiting to get into treatment. I am so frustrated and extremely depressed that I'm not in detox yet!!!!:sad:

sorry to hear that, I personally havent heard of anyone having trouble getting a bed but I often wonder'd. IF I do ever go , I have a couple places picked out and one of them is Crossroads, Eric Clapton's place in Antiqua,another one out West..'Hope by the Sea". Fortuntaly my company Would spilt the cost w/ me...it's pretty much their policy , being that the biz I'm in has Many winding up in rehab with all the stress,accessibilty and ''entertaining"...yukkkkk....sick of it

But I have wonderd, 'so what if I've made the decision to go and there's no availablity..etc"

Like you said..'so I guess i;m just supposed to either od,keep using or just risk my life by detoxing withOut medical supervision??

This sux ...sorry to hear, are there any other options? or cenetrs close enough by?

Hang in there jollygirl.It will get better soon.I know it is frustrating when you want to get in there and start.I hope for the best for you.

An exercise in patience, of which there will be many. And still wanting it more--that is a good sign. Praying.... It will happen. All those darn addicts, taking up beds, what are they thinking?! Almost like the graveyard, people are just dying to get in. I am just joking here!!!!! But I am praying for you and I know you can hang in there and make it!!!! Life is soooo much better without it! God bless!
