Hello everyone,
my name is Kathleen , I am 49 and divorced . I have 2 and half years clean and sober. I am involved in AA, even though I have n0ot touched booze since 1989 it is where my life of using drugs and all, started. I even had a 8 yr dry drunk, but now when I look back , I was more insane then , I am compulive in all ways, I was angry all the time, lashed out at everyone I loved at the littlest things. After my divorce I slipped into meth, and continued for many years till 09/14/06
I have 2 daughters , oldest is 27 and in recovery , and doing awesome. youngest is in Maine, with her dad, and is on a path of rebellion now. I allowed my ex to raise her, due to my depression problems and mental state at time of divorce, so she is angry. I gave a son up in 1986, whe nI was using coke alot , and struggling to raise my older gir. Well since I have been clean and doing the next right thing, working the steps, making amends, and staying on the right path. I have my family back, my kids in my life, and My son found me and my daughter on Myspace few months back!
March 14 My daughter ( oldest) got married, and her hubby and his family , secretly flew my son in for the wedding and we got to meet him for the first time!
Recovery Rocks, and if it was not for me doing what I am today, the steps, AA, and praying, and finding GOD again, none of this would be happening,, I love ME finally , I LOVE LIFE finally and will continue doing so ONE DAY AT TIME.... Would love making some new friends and specially anyone who is from my area, Of Tacoma Washington.
