Im sure everything is way different here now... I was looking at picture of where I live in the seventies, and it was all rice fields, now its all concrete. You better hold on to those things, they could be valuable souvenirs. There is not much things left here from the war.

Where there's alcoholics there's meetings. I found the forum via google. There's a few out there, and I like this one best, particularly because you use vBulletin.

And congratulations your 4 years sober, that is awesome. Ive only been sober a little bit over a year now, 1-14-08.

Congrats to you too being sober for over a year! Have you worked all the steps yet? I did mine (written out) with a sponcer. Took me several months. I do step one everyday along with other steps as needed. Glad you liked our site the best so far. We are a nice bunch with different dates of recovery and we are from all over the states and I one from OZ (the land down under). I'm now going to school and working and have 6 kids,so my time is limited. I come on line a lot when I cannot get to meetings. I'm done with school soon,so i'll be able to make more meetings. Hurray!

You had to ask the heavy question:blush: Im working on my step 4 with my sponsor right now... I know... I know... I have to complete my step 4:confused:, me and my sponsor are working on it. So I haven't worked all of my steps technically. But I have in my daily life. There is nothing that stops me from making amends in my daily life with people I work with, or at home. I am also doing my step 12 anytime I help a new comer, with something as simple as a warm hug:42: or giving them a phone list.
