OMG Victoriana isn't it still cold over there? My partner is from the UK.....we watch the EPL regular and it looks like it's still quite chilly, all folk rugged up!!....I'm in Aust, we are into Autumn now and the winter bulbs are all just starting to shoot and I have a heap of pruning to do, leaves dropping and bare branches. I love to be outside, the garden is my sanctuary.....we have plenty of it too.

My week, well today is Tuesday for me, I have my wee fellow at home of course, and my 9year old is having a few days off school as his Nan who he lives with during the school week to enable him to attend a special needs school is away for a bit and it's too far for me to take him everyday......he's not overly impressed about being off school either LOL. My partner is at home still for another week recovering so he's under my toes somewhat, finding quiet me time is a little difficult of late but I'm trying to make it a daily priority.

So in between being mum and partner I am trying to get some gardening done and interior cleaning, we have a large home, many walls for little fingers and not so little fingers to run their hands all over, door frames etc., and the windows all need a good clean outside after the summer dust, so plenty to keep me going I think.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

God Bless and....be happy.

We are on baby(s) watch for grandson 6 and 7.

Two of my daughters have the same due date, so grandma's radar is up for the blessed event. She's got that far away look in her eye, which tells me to be on my best behavior (like thats gonna happen :))

I know the drill, so I'm going to stay far out of the way, get some studying done, until someone needs a ride to the hospital,,,but more than likely they'll leave me here to watch the grandsons, while the other two are crashing this party called life.

Thanks for asking Big Al, good luck with that water pipe.

We woke up to frost this morning! They always say here in the Pittsburgh area not to plant your garden until after Memorial Day. Busy one for me--daily dog walks, school awards ceremony, Moms in Touch training, fridge repair for a recall, shopping, cleaning, laundry, weed whacking, ultra sound appointment. Been like this for three weeks now--crazy. A meeting has to fit in there somewhere. That is why I share here because I can do it when I have a spare few minutes.
Thanks for the thoughts, Al. Hope that repair goes okay!

The rest of this week I will continue to search through the internet through the job ads. Being out of work so makes me want to drink, but I am being strong. I also have to go to my son's school to have a meeting with his teachers and the dean. Interviews and job fairs, I may clean my apt as well. Tomorrow I'm going to a meeting in the city woohoo.

Hi Al & All! :17:
Supposedly spring has sprung up here... so it's time to get busy with all the yard work & such... no lack of work for me in that dept now.....more like "pacing myself" with all the projects that need to be done this summer.

A good friend of mine suggested that I get the movie "The Fisher King", so I did,,, plus someone else lent me the movie "Young at Heart"...would like to watch both of them this coming week :) I don't watch many movies,,,, so this is actually a big deal! lol

I've been reading the book The Shack, and am finding it a beautiful read... want to take my time to take it all in :)

I went Bible shopping last Saturday & selected a nice one in a version that I think I really like.

It's a madhouse at work, but always is at this time of year...doesn't mean that we can't have fun while we work though :)
....Starlight having fun??? Pfffttt!!! LOL
