By working this program I was able to get 6 months! I'm surprised because I couldn't stay sober for 14 years! But something happened, like I became willing to let God work in my life and surrendered. That was big for me. I couldn't (or wouldn't) surrender. Once I did, I was able to stay sober. Not easy but I'm doing it. I'm on Step. 6 now, will be doing that on Sunday!:85:

Hey 6 months is awesome - congrats. One day at a time our life changes for the better when we keep recovery as our focus.
Now that you have six months you have 6 months of experience to help people that have less time than you do.
Recovery is such a wonderful adventure I really am amazed how my life has changed in the time that I have been sober.
I don't know you personally but I am proud of you!

It has not been easy but I am WILLING to do the work and get rid of those things called "character defects" that kept me drunk all those years. I've moved on to other meetings (with the 'winners') and stopped going to the 13th step-type places. Don't want to get stuck - I was getting there and now I'm unstuck, but I've learned alot and am learning alot from this program. Now I can honestly say "I'm a grateful alcoholic". I used to hate when people said that, now I understand it. Thanks again....:12:

you are doing awesome, you have some very positive and inspiring word choices,
willing, surrender... you get it... Job well done, keep GOD first and those defects will be removed; until then those too can be arrested a day at a time..
