Help

New here to Cyber Recovery. I am trying hard to quit drinking. I have pulled out my bible. I used to drink gin a ton of it. I quit several years back. I started back up last year on a glass of wine here and there. Now it's all the time. I justified it with that it was wine not the hard stuff. Now it's taken over my life again. Any prayers that someone could say or send me would help.

Hi and welcome! This is the right place! Definitely praying for you! I am a recovering alcoholic who has had some relapse trouble recently. I believe strongly in God--I even lead a prayer group! But for me I have to attend AA meetings for the support I need to stay sober. You might want to try that for support and understanding. You have made a couragous step by posting here and praying you will seek the help you need to get and stay sober. Keep coming back and sharing!
