Endurance
For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. (Heb 10:36)

Do you ever feel like things should be working out differently? Yet, we are told to not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. (1Pet 4:12)
The Lord knows that we need to gain endurance. Endurance is what we obtain after we go through many trials while choosing to follow the Spirit instead of the flesh. (In the meantime Christian- we all stumble in many ways. Repentance is a wonderful thing.
Everyone goes through trouble. But we find everything we need for life and godliness through Jesus who has given us his promises. Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, thank you for walking with us. Purify our complaining heart while we go through trouble so that we can grow in perseverance.
Help us to walk in you today by surrendering each of our struggles to you. We need your help to walk in faith into your peace. Help us to take heart and to obtain endurance looking to you through trouble. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
"In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
We have God's Word on it.
