Red, brown, yellow, black, and white... they are precious in my sight.

"I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these followers of mine, you did it for me!"
- Matthew 25:40

God created a world of infinite variety. There are millions of different animal species, flowers, and plants. No two snowflakes are alike. No two fingerprints are alike. No two voices are alike. The night sky is blanketed with stars, comets, and planets. God must love diversity.

If God's imagination can create such a fantastic universe, why would we think people would all come in the same color? We are spiritual beings on the inside. But on the outside, some of us are white hothouse orchids; some are yellow daisies and bright marigolds, while some are velvety purple petunias. Yet it takes all of us to make up this beautiful garden we call home.

Still, many continue to let the color of our skin polarize and separate us from one another. Many people of all colors continue to allow hatred and animosity to drive them to commit shameful acts. We have even endured wars because we were unable to see that a diversity of color is a gift from a loving and creative God.

Reach out a hand of friendship to someone of a different skin color. You may find that you have more in common than you could ever have imagined.
