Trust and Walk

I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. (John 16:12)

Christian, do you ever want to know what's going to happen next? And yet, it's a good thing that the Lord leads us one step at a time. We learn to trust Jesus. Step by step...

And it's not blind faith. Though we don't see him now with our eyes, we have the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures. (see 2Tim 3:16 and John 16:13) Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, fill us with your Spirit, help us to feed on your Word. Make the Scriptures alive in us so that we would know you in all of our circumstances.

Thank you for giving us repentance. Teach us to abide in you and to walk by your word. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

"All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you." (John 16:15)

We have God's Word on it.
