This Is a Hold-Up - God's Grace
He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a special people, eager to do good works.
Titus 2:14,

Every one of us knows the anguish of failing the Lord. We tap our fist against our forehead, eyes closed in disbelief and disappointment. We've done it again. How are we going to explain this to God?
But we don't have to. He already knows. And after we've beaten ourselves up long enough, we finally realize that we can quit groveling in shame and turn our face toward His throne, "so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us" (Hebrews 4:16).
Grace. There it is again. Just as sweet and refreshing as it was the first time we put it to our lips. When we first fell back into its big, strong arms and felt the peace of God's purity flowing through our veins, we thought grace had done all it was supposed to do. But like ocean waves that splash with fresh blessing from a bottomless source, God's grace keeps catching us, keeps picking us up, keeps moving us forward when we thought we'd fallen too far behind to catch up. His grace is still here, still supplying, still as amazing as ever.
