Would like to say hello to everyone!!
I am a nurse who was feeding my addiction going to work everyday. I had to have back surgery 3 years ago, that's when i was introduced to percocet. Before long i was taking 15-20 10mg percocets a day. After the surgery i tried to taper, but realized i needed them to heal my emotional pain. I turned to the streets to get them. I could not function daily without pills, my whole life revolved around percocet and whatever else i could get my hands on. I was in severe debt, draining my bank account, cash advances off credit cards, just to feel high and make all my problems go away. My addict mind thought, why dont i take a few from work, that soon turned into many many pills in my pocket on a daily basis. I was supposed to be a caring, compassionate person whom my patients expected to trust and i failed.
I finaly got caught and arrested, It was such a relief to me. Well...I have been 5 months clean, and working a program!! Trying to become the nurse i once was. Thank you all for letting me share~
