needing help

I'm a newcomer to n/a and this site.I'm looking for new sober friends to co-spond with and clean fun activites.Not really sure how this site works?I just got a sponser and she wants me to get started on the steps.So I looked up 12 step guide lines and was directed to this site ,she wants me to write about chapter 1 and step 1,and I really don't know how or where to begin.Any help or advice????

Hi and welcome! This is a place where you can find different discussions going on in different forums. You can search and find info on topics you are interested in.

There is a forum called the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions Discussion and Support where you can find some info on working the 12 steps. Usually your sponsor should give you some guidelines or exercises on working the steps. If you go to the sticky under the forum just mentioned which should be at this link:

you will find links to outlines for working each step. This is not the only way, but I have found it useful.
