Hi beth
I am cassie, grateful recovering alcoholic. Welcome to the group - lots of experience, strength and hope here with a great sense of community and family. Please keep coming back to share. :42:
By the way, I am married, live in NC with hubby and two dogs (lab/chow and Border Collie). We also have lots of Koi at the moment in a pond in the back yard and bird feeders that attract lots of native and migratory birds (as well as field mice - yuch!) We enjoy photography, gardening and nature.

Glad to meet you, Beth! I also started the long road to recovery after I had my daughter - you can't quit just for your children, but they sure add incentive! We look forward to getting to know you!

Hi Tony, Are you sick of AA people? AA saved my life and gave me a life I can be proud of today. I'm not here to preach only to recover. How are you doing?

Tony without AA in my life I would not be where I am today. AA rescued me from the grip of a continuing and progressive illness that had me totaly in its grip. The program has also showed me a different way of life and how to cope with what ever life throws at me. So do I hate AA not by far I love the program and everything it stands for. I have 2 years in the program.

Hello Beth. Welcome to our family. MY name is April and I am an addict. I was clean for seven years and relapsed for about a year. Unfortunately, a month into my recovery, I found a couple of pills and took them. I have two days clean now and this site has helped me immensely. I hope it can do the same for you. Keep coming back. It would be nice to get to know you.

Hi today (((((((((Beth))))))))),
I do not feel you were rude about the amount of time available to you; "we all have to live life on life's terms" and hey with a 9 month old baby I believe we can all understand the limited time available....I know I can, I've had 5 of them!!!! :1:
I also am glad you are here and hope you "keep coming back"; at a pace that is suitable "for you"!!:1: :42:

you guys are so wonderful thankyou for supporting me. Its been a while since i have posted anything. I feel bad about that but i am sure you guys understand that with a 14 month old i have no time to myself anymore it was so much easer when she was younger i could just put her in her swing or walker and get on line but now shes out grown all of that so i basicly spend most of the day chaseing her arround and trying to keep her out of things shes not supposed to be in its so fun i would not change it for the world and i am totaly glad that i am sober while all this is going on cause i get to enjoy it that much more and have more patients than i would if i were drunk.:92:

Hi Eskimogirl...I do understand. I have 4 grandbabies under 3 years old. The 3 year old is finally at a stage where you don't have to watch her EVERY SINGLE SECOND. But just about the time you think she is trustworthy, she'll get into something. I know what you mean about not being able to take your eyes off them for even one second. I keep 3 of them quite often and they lived with me up until a year ago. It is like owning a daycare center. Glad you were able to pop in again. Do so when you can.
Hello my name is nana,so glad to meet you..........Hope your day is good.Love Nana

Hi eskimo girl, yes, it is great to hear from you again, thx for pm. WOW time has passed!!!, I am glad you have come back, hope we continue to see you!! I now have a 6 and half month old, making my clan 6!!. Totally know how it is to run and spend a bit of time on the net and then back to being a busy mum!!
I'm sure my time will be even more limited soon, Malley is not quite crawling yet but gets around the lounge room quite well, like a caterpillar!!!...lol....I have a feeling once he's truly mobile he will require a lot of watching!!!!
Hope all else is going well in your life today.
Love and hugs Felicity.:42:
