Speaking of Faith is a radio show on NPR that usually runs at 7:00 am Sundays in my area. The host is Krista Tippett, who is a graduate of Yale with a M.Div. She perceived something lacking in the journalistic treatment of matters of faith, so she pitched her idea to Minnesota Public Radio, and developed an interview program dealing with faith and spirituality.
Last week they reran a program from a couple of years ago where Krista interviewed Susan Cheever and Basil Brave Heart, a Lakota healer, about spiritual matters in recovery.
I've provided a link to the transcript, but you can also subscribe to her newsletter, listen to her online, and download her programs as podcasts for free. Her programs cover a wide range of issues, and are always thoughtful and insightful.
