I am not quite sure how this whole cyber recovery works but at this point i need something i was kicked out of a recovery house a month and a half ago and had to move in with my parents whom are raising 2 of my children. anyway i have no transportation and am having a problem getting to meetings and having contact with other recovering addicts. i do still talk to the recovering addicts from the area of the recovery house, but that's to far away for them to help me out. i need to get a new sponsor in this area and i miss working the steps. i know that i could still work on them myself but it was nice to have the guidance of someone with some clean time under their belt. anyway i am working and even having a hard time getting there you see my family all have jobs and are too busy to help out with certain things like rides to meetings and work. i have no license and i know that it is not their responsibility anyway it is mine, i know that if i wanted to get high i would of gotten there huh? anyway just trying to figure out if there is some way to chat in recovery chats or get some feedback i now have 44 days clean and sober! thanks for being here:D

:55: Reesey, Glad to have you join us here. Great job on 44 days! :29: In the beginning I used online recovery when I couldn't get out to meetings for whatever reason and use online recovery everyday now. Please make yourself at home here. We also have an Online Journals/Diaries forum on the board here that some folks use in their recovery. Feel free to start a journal for yourself there and to share with us anywhere else on the board. I look forward to getting to know you better. I hope you will continue to come back. We are here for you. :42:

Love,
Tammy

I'm kai, grateful alcoholic.

Glad you are here. This is a really good place. Not the same as face to face, but also a good place to find specifically what you are looking for. Too bad someone from your meetings can't pick you up. You know, it has been my experience, in this program, that when ever I need help and am not getting it, it is usually because I have not asked.

Hope you get the meeting thing worked out. Congrats on 44 days!! That is great. Keep at it, you can do it.

Love ya later. Kai

:75: Reesey and:46: :73: from me Felicity.

:89: :85: on 44 days sober.....well done!!!!!

I live in australia, am a clean d.addict and a very grateful recovering alcoholic; I live in a small country town and the bulk of my recovery has been right here on-line. I have d&a counselling once a week and have a support system with a couple of close friends whom I can call when things get too tough.

I pray you are able to find what you need to maintain your sobriety, we have a wonderful support group here whom have become my family. :1: :1: I'd be lost without them!!! I hope you too keep coming back and sharing with us.:D
