There is birth and there is death, two acts to a complex play called life and between them is an interval which should be enjoyed.

Life is but a choice, to whom? I choose to give life to. When death becomes me, I shall live at eternal peace with my choice.

A happy thought is the greatest tonic

Never take pleasure in the discomfort of others, nor take your own happiness too much for granted

Learn to value your happiness. Never turn your back on it.

It is easy to feel isolated in personal sadness. But remember, no sorrow is new-all mankind is linked by shared experience

Try to be satisfied with what you have.

To dwell on unhappiness is a selfish act.

Do not ground your happiness in material things. They are all too easily taken away.

Don't let your ego shove you around.

Unhappiness is one of the consuming illnesses of our time.

Remember in life that you are never alone in your fight against unhappiness.

Wasting of time is wasting life.

[janbear]

Don't waste you energy envying others their happiness, they are probably busy envying yours.

The curious thing about human beings is the way we seem to actually worship our negative emotions.

How often can you hear yourself putting yourself down and expressing a low opinion of yourself to others, and yet how often have you told yourself that you don't deserve what you're going through?

:1: :1: hmmmmm, "very good" food for thought, and certainly food for the heart to cease negative opinions of self!!!!

Be honest with yourself, if you cannot accept yourself as you are, how can you expect others to?

Get involved- many of our illusions of unhappiness come through our detachment

One of the rarest things to be discovered in life is truth.

Happiness loves to be elusive, and then take you by surprise.

Use your life for something you really believe in.

[janbear]

Just because you allow yourself to laugh doesn't mean that you take life any less seriously. Happiness relies on humor and a sense of perspective.

Ever noticed that people who live life deeply seem to have no fear of death?

Next time you stare into the heavens wondering whether there is life elsewhere in the universe, ponder too the possiblity of your life on earth.
