Be your own careful and compassionate observer.
It may be helpful to jot down notes over several weeks observing which of your behaviours and choices support your self respect (and integrity), and which undermine it. (I felt great when I made some coherent suggestions in that difficult meeting, I wish I had told karen how I honestly felt about her being late again atc).
Note your excuses or self blame, but as if you were hearing them from someone else. Don't jusge yourself for them. Just note what's occuring to make it more conscious.
You are looking for patterns in order to support yourself better. Very quickly you will see what needs transforming. It will also help to ask yourself in moments of stress or confusion, 'what's the best I can do right now?' Let your mind go there - and then act.
