I found this forum because I am now interested, or better able to handle lol, the fact that not only am I an alcoholic, so was my mother! I'm willing to learn, and from what I have read here, great people ! with great posts ~ thanks.:mrgreen:

welcome ruby, I too came from an alcoholic home and found that the dysfuntion of my upbringing had affected possible more than my alcoholism itself. Although I believe that I would have been an alcoholic anyway. Sharing our experiencing strength and hope enables me to articulate and identify feelings thoughts and behaviours that I have never noticed before. Kepp coming back and god bless.
