Feed your mind at least as well as you feed your body. Censor what is negative, dispiriting or distubing. Those choices matter.
If you have young children, see it as an act of love also to limit their exposrure to what will ahrm rather than nourish their minds. It's not healthy to watch constant images of violence or to listen to news bulletins that eflect our society's obsession with conflict. Little children can never benefit from this.
Choose to feed your mind through thining and acting creatively; Value your own creativity. Make time to develop it.
Choose to feed your mind through opening your eyes to the beauty and wonder of the natural world.
Choose to feed your mind by sleeping soundly, resting when you need to, listening to music that's uplifting or absorbing with pleasure the healing sound of silence.
It's as important to choose wht goes into your mind as it is to choose what comes out of it in the way of attitudes, speech and response.
