2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups sifted baking mix
3/4 cup sugar

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine oil, egg and milk. Sift together dry ingredients, add to milk mixture and mix well. Pour into greased 9x9x2 pan. Sprinkle with Spicy Topping. Bake for 25 minutes.

Spicy Topping:
Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp baking mix, 1 tsp ground cinnamon., 1 tbsp butter or margarine (not spread) and 1/2 cup broken nuts. (I increased this by 1/2 which covered the cake nicely.)

hi there...

This is my Mother -In Law's recipe for amazing sour cream coffee cake.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake
1 cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda

Topping
1 cup finely chopped nuts
2 Tbs sugar
½ tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350°
Grease a bundt pan well and flour.
Place 1/3 of topping mix in bottom of pan.
Place half of batter in pan
place remaining topping and top with remaining batter.
Bake at 350° for 45 Minutes

If you are in a hurry and want to cheat, krusteaz brand cinnamon crumb cake is fantastic. I make the recipe on the box but I add a 1/3 cup of sour cream to the batter. It tastes just like homemade and no one knows that it is from a mix.
With either one of these you can't go wrong.
