Today's Daily Word - Monday, July 16, 2007
Inner Peace
Giving expression to the peace of God within me, I am peaceful and fulfilled.
Anytime the busyness of my day disrupts my peace of mind, I take a moment to rejuvenate myself through prayer. As I close my eyes, I focus on the breath of life moving through my body. This even, rhythmic flow brings my attention back to the peace of God.
Like a pristine reservoir of sparkling water, the peace of God wells up within me and infuses me with energy. This peaceful effervescence melts away any tension and invigorates my senses. With every breath, I immerse myself more deeply in this sacred experience of inner peace.
I emerge from these meditative moments refreshed and renewed. Giving expression to the peace of God that resides within me, I am peaceful and fulfilled.
βIs not the Lord your God with you? Has he not given you peace on every side? β¦ Now set your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God.ββ1 Chronicles 22:18-19
