Everyone is welcome warmly. Hi newcomer, I am honey barbara - 6 weeks sober tomorrow. Just finished a run & I am sitting here sipping tea wondering what to do with this gorgeous sunny day and no hangover. I am meeting my family for yum cha in China town then maybe a movie or the art gallery.
I used to just want to see movies or read on the couch as I was hungover every single weekend. Ntvinh - how are things going for you. Honey Barbxxxx Last edited by Honey Barbara; 11-07-2009 at 08:19 PM. Reason: bad grammar |

welcome mike g - 18 days sober so i too am a very newcomer but am already classed as a regular which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. have just been away on a marae all weekend (an alcohol free weekend) and i loved every minute of it. at one point we took a bus to take a ferry which was late - almost 1/2 hr wait and one guy said "anyone fancy a beer" as we were right outside the pub - and i thought hey, last month i would have been in like a shot and been embarrassed but done it anyway - no, instead we all went for a coffee or icecream and it made me feel real good. it was an emotionally exhausting weekend as it was so alcohol would have been lethal - am feeling very very good and still feeling the freedom from it all. hope same for everyone else - aroha, hetiheti
