And Jesus said; "With men this is impossible,
but with God all things are possible."
( Matthew 19:26 *NKJV )

When you are facing something that seems impossible
to you, have faith, for nothing is impossible with God on
your side! After all is it not written; For with God nothing
will be impossible." ( Luke 1:37 ) For, He who
is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
(1 John 4:4)

So don't give up when facing what seems impossible to
you. For you do believe in miracles don't you? Well, isn't
a miracle something that has happened that seemed
impossible at the time?

Therefore the next time you find yourself thinking that
something is impossible; remember the first verse of this
message and; Watch, stand fast in the faith, be
brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done
with love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14) After all
God has said; "Behold, I am the Lord , the God of
all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
Amen! ( Jeremiah 32:27 )

He does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the
earth, so great is His love for those who
fear* { revere ] him;
( Psalms 103:10-11 *NIV )

God offers repentance to all who come to Him! I know that
many people believe that they have done something that they
cannot be forgiven for, but that is incorrect; for He knows
how we are formed He remembers that we
are dust. ( Psalms 103:14 )

He also knows that to be of the flesh is to be sinful! After all
God has promised; I will cleanse them from all the
sin they have committed against me and will
forgive all their sins of rebellion against Me.
( Jeremiah 33:8 )

Therefore if you slip and sin, seek forgiveness as King David
did, for he said; Then I acknowledged my sin to You
and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will
confess my transgressions to the Lord " - and
You forgave the guilt of my sin. ( Psalms 32:5 )

So, do not beat yourself up over past mistakes,
ask for forgiveness, and remember that; Blessed is he whose
transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are
covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord
does not count against hi and in whose spirit
is no deceit. Amen. ( Psalms 32:1-2 )

"He who sits in the heavens shall laugh."
( Psalms 2:4 *NKJV )

Now I know that I am using this verse totally
out of context, but our Heavenly Father truly has
a sense of humor! So sit back, relax and enjoy
the Bloopers actually found in Church Bulletins!

The outreach committee has enlisted 25 visitors to
make calls on people who are not "afflicted" with
any church.

The Ladies Bible Study will be held Thursday
morning at 10. All ladies are invited to lunch in the
Fellowship Hall after the B.S. is done.

Evening massage - 6 p.m.

The Pastor would appreciate it if the ladies of the
congregation would lend him their electric "girdles" for
the pancake breakfast next Sunday morning.

The audience is asked to remain seated until the end
of the recession.

Ushers will eat latecomers

For those of you who have children and don't know it,
we have a nursery downstairs.

The Rev. Merriwether spoke briefly, much to the
delight of the audience.

Due to the Rector's illness, Wednesday's healing
services will be discontinued until further notice.

Next Sunday Mrs. Vinson will be soloist for the
morning service. The pastor will then speak on "It's a
Terrible Experience."

Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our
church and community.

Today's Sermon: HOW MUCH CAN A MAN DRINK?
With hymns from a full choir.

Potluck supper: prayer and medication to follow.

Don't let worry kill you off - let the church help.

The 2009 Spring Council Retreat will be "hell" May 10
and 11.

Pastor is on vacation. "Massages" can be given to
church secretary.

8 new choir robes are currently needed due to the
addition of several new members and to the
deterioration of some older ones.

The pastor will preach his farewell message, after
which the choir will sing, "Break Forth Into Joy."

The third verse of Blessed Assurance will be sung
without musical accomplishment.

This is what the LORD says -He who made
you, who formed you in the womb
( Isaiah 44:2 *NKJV )

God knew you long before you were born, just as
He knew Isaiah and Jeremiah. He thought about you and
planned for you! For He wanted someone just like you,
therefore you are very special to Him. After all God has
said; "Before I formed you in the womb I knew
you, before you were born I set you apart."
( Jeremiah 1:5 )

So when you feel discouraged or inadequate, remember
that God has always thought of you as very valuable. He is
always with you and He loves you dearly, and nothing can
separate you from that love! For I am convinced that
neither death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither the present nor the future,
nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor
anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in
Christ Jesus our Lord. ( Romans 8:38-39 )

So, never feel that you are unloved, or let one of
life's many discouragements set you back, instead; Be
confident of this, that He who began a good work
in you will carry it on to completion until the day
of Christ Jesus. Amen ( Philippians 1:6 )

A man has joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how
good is it!
( Proverbs 15:23 *NKJV )

Words are very powerful for they can either build up, or
tear down others. Also foolish words can bring about our
own destruction, for it is written; In the mouth of a fool is
a rod of pride, But the lips of the wise will
preserve them. ( Proverbs 14:3 )

We are also warned about gossiping for it is written;
All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk
leads only to poverty. ( Proverbs 14:23 ) For after
all, The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life,
but a deceitful tongue chrushes the spirit.
( Proverbs 15:4 )

Further, God has instructed us to encourage
one another, for it is written; And let us consider one
another in order to stir up love and good works,
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together, as is the manner of some, but
exhorting one another, and so much the more
as you see the Day approaching.
( Hebrews 10:24-25 )

So my friend, remember to keep the words you speak soft
and sweet. For you never know from day to day which words
you'll have to eat! Amen.

Pastor Allen

For what profit is it to a man if he gains
the whole world, and is himself destroyed
or lost?
( Luke 9:25 *NKJV )

As you already know in this World today it is very easy to
get caught up in our day to day life. We sometimes even
seem to forget how short our human life is compared to our
Eternal life! After all it is written; For what is your life? It is
even a vapor that appears for a little time and
then vanishes away. ( James 4:14 )

We even see around us many people that are so consumed
by the power of money that they have lost sight of what is
really important! For the love of money is a root of all
kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from
the faith in their greediness, and pierced them-
selves through with many sorrows. ( 1 Timothy 6:10 )
For their god has become the almighty dollar, but when their
life is over, all of their money can not another moment buy!

As Children of God we have an even better life ahead of us!
One with Our Savior Jesus Christ, and a life where;
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor
crying. There shall be no more pain, for the
former things have passed away."
( Revelation 21:4 )

Therefore what a Blessing it is to be a Child of God! So the
next time that you count all of your blessings, be sure to add
that one as well! Amen.

Jesus taught us to say, "Give us this day our daily
bread." ( Matthew 6:11 *NKJV )

The word's "Daily Bread" refer to our spiritual food, that being
the Word of God. For; Man shall not live by bread alone;
but man lives by every word that proceeds from
the mouth of the Lord. ( Deuteronomy 8:3 )

Now, did you ever notice when reading the Scriptures how
the Word ministers to us in different ways depending on what
our current situation is? Well this is because; The Word of
God is living and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, Thus we my boldly say; Your word is
a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
( Hebrews 4:12 ) ( Psalms 119:105 )

Therefore; Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly
in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And
whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the
name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the
Father through Him. ( Colossians 3:16 )

Now, you may consider this daily message a
slice of toast for your spiritual breakfast each morning. Now
you may enjoy even more by reading you Bible each day as well.
However do not worry, you may enjoy several spiritual meals a
day without gaining a single pound! So Bon Appetite, my Dear
Friend!

In closing, It is my hope that these messages bring a ray of
sunshine into your life each day! May God bless you, and have
a Wonderful Week. Amen.

Pastor Allen

Blessed is he whose transgressions are
forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord
does not count against him and in whose
spirit is no deceit.
( Psalms 32:1-2 *NIV )

Often people feel that they have committed a sin in the past
that can not be forgiven. A sin that is so horrible that God could
never forgiven them. This is simply not true! For; If we confess
our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive
us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
( 1 John 1:9 )

After all Jesus even forgave a thief on the cross, did He not?
( Luke 23:40-43 ) This is because when we confess our
sins and ask for forgiveness, our past sins are cleansed from the
Book of Life by the Precious Blood of our Savior Jesus Christ!
For, In him we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the
riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with
all wisdom and understanding. ( Ephesians 1:7-8 )

Therefore never feel that a sin you have committed in the
past can not be forgiven, that simply is not true! For our Savior
paid the price for the sin debt for the whole World on the cross!
So, it can be said; Who is a God like you, who pardons
sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant
of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy. You will again have
compassion on us; you will tread our sins under-
foot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of
the sea. Amen. ( Micah 7:18-19 )
