Personality Disorders & Alcoholism
My husband has recently been diagnosed with personality disorders, but has also off & on struggled with alcohol since he was a teenager. These 2 things combined have unfortunately caused him to do some self-sabotaging behavior (criminal activity amongst other things). He is about to be released from jail on bond in order to immediately get on medication & to rehab (which will not only be great for his legal case but he is definitely eager & ready to get help)! He not only needs to but has been advised to go to a long-term rehab (a mere 30-days is not going to do much). The facility we found is a rare & great one -- it is not only long-term & deals with addiction but also is what is called a "dual diagnosis" rehab that treats mental illnesses as well. Since these 2 things are serious, it is imperative that both be treated, not just 1. The only obstacle is finances...which only the Lord can provide, even if out of thin air! It is $6600 per month, for up to 12 month stay.
This long-term rehab will literally save his life & keep him on the path of healing & rehabilitation. Does anyone know where one goes to get financial help of this magnitude? Or do just the rich & famous get this kind of wondeful & needed help? Otherwise, the Lord will just have to drop the money literally from the air!

support4him! Glad to have you join us here. The only thing I can think of outside of having insurance to help out is if you go to a church they may can help you. Maybe someone else will come along that knows more. Please feel free to continue to come and share with us. We are here for you.

Thanks for your kindness & reply! Unfortunately even with insurance, they only cover 30-days of inpatient & 30 mental health visits per year. So, that would only put a small dent in what was recommended & needed.
I will try going to our church to see if they might help or something...? They may help for other benevolence things (paying household bills, food, etc), but not sure of rehab (even though we all know that is definitely life or death, some people don't see it that way). Thanks again!
