O.U.T.

~ O. U. T. ~

Every day was my struggle... I faced it alone.
Until I knew my true calling, did I find my own.
I am an addict, I have a disease.
The problems I face, I solve on my knees.
I've been beaten, raped, verbally abused.
Maybe that's why I picked up and used.
Drugs were my solution, I thought at the time.
And soon I did make me a life full of crime.

So, yeah, I know what street life's about.
But if you want help, there is a way out.
Start you a program, and work the twelve steps.
No dues or fees to put you in debt.
Pray to your Higher Power, down on your knees.
Unlock the lock with the NA keys.
Every day will get better and you'll soon not doubt
That if you really want help, there is a way out!
