Today -- 4-17-08 -- date I began looking for codependency help online because now I live in a rural community with no anonymity at meetings...

After being arrested for my Third DWI at the age of 22 the judge thought I needed some program in my life and I attended meetings, got a sponsor and worked the steps. I enjoyed some good sobriety and I grew up a lot. I became active in the New York Young Peoples Committee. At Five years Sober I got married and didn't attend many meetings and two years later I picked up a drink and drank 24/7 for two years until I rolled a Company vehicle in a black out on Halloween night 1990. I was sent to rehab and I have been blessed to enjoy real sobriety ever since.
Sobriety Date October, 31, 1990.
Clean Date April, 28, 1982.

My name is Angela, I was sober for 21 months and went back out after I lost a nephew at the end of February and and then a friend shortly after that in April. I forgot my tools and my reasons for being sober. I am coming back, and my new sobriety date is October 26, 2008.

Hi Ya"ll; My name is Scotty, and I am an alcoholic from Tennessee. My belly-button is October 7, 1951, and my Sobeiety Date is June 5, 1998. I am 57, although my maturity level is more like 25, and I think I'm 17. Hope everyone is great. Bye!

Hi. My name is Beth. My sobriety date is Oct 23, 2008 and my belly button date is March 6, 1962. I've joined this group to find additional support when I can't make meetings. I'm looking forward what I find here.
