WHERE'D THAT WRENCH COME FROM?

WHERE'D THAT WRENCH COME FROM?

We need to stop that project to make a change,"my manager called as he rushed by my door."Grab your files and come to my office." Of course, it was five o'clock and I had an appointment, but none of that mattered because a wrench-an unexpected change-had occured.
After a few days of going through the wrench cycle-disbelief, frustration, and full blown anger with a dash of self-pity-I picked myself up and started again. Welcome to the buisiness world! I would love for projects to run smoothly from beginning to end, but wrenches happen to the best-laid plans.
If you've been thrown a wrench, don't get discouraged. Changes and disappointments are a part of working with people, but you can rise above them. Stay humble and keep a sense of humor.
Focus on God, and then take a deep breath and move forward. When the project is completed, you'll have a sense of satisfaction, and in time, you won't even remember the wrenches. You'll only remember the success.

God, help me to have strength and courage when wrenches come my way and to trust You to direct me every day.
