Here we Are god,all your children saying thank you for keeping us safe from ourselves.Safe from the dangers we courted to look like real men. Safe from the rages we cultivated to hide our fear,Safe from the strutting and posturing to look successful when most of what we touched turned to shame and failure.Safe from blostering our false egos by abusing every substance we could find Safe from the monsters we let out while we were using.
