Never Mind

A drunk was driving down the street. He was nervous and anxious
because he was due to appear in court, but couldn't find a
parking place. Bowing his head in prayer, he cried, "God, take
pity on me. If you find me a parking place, I will go to
church every week for the rest of my life, I will be kind to my
family, and I will give up drinking." Miraculously, a parking
place appeared immediately. The drunk again bowed and said,
"Never mind. I found one."

yes, so often in our addictiveness and then even during recovery during our addictive thinking we can miss the messages and signals from our Lord.
