I need a sponsor

I am new at this. Although I've been married to my addict for 10 years. I never had the need to seek help before. He has 9 years clean time. Last month I was hospitalized for 2 weeks and he started an affair with a ***** from the rooms; she doesn't even have 1 year clean time. My biggest fear these last few years was wheither he would pick up. Not if he would cheat. Now I see where I was wrong. I am having trouble digesting this. I stand 5'4'", he stands 6'4", but I tried to knock his head off. If I could get my hands on her I would probably gone to jail that night. I am preatty much a loner. I usually don't need friends. They usually aren't any thing but trouble.

Thanks for listening, If anyone is up for this challenge, I'll be here.

Bridgit, I can not be your sponsor but I can listen to what you what to say and offer some simple suggestions.I know one thing, assault usually ends with handcuffs and a free ride downtown. Booking sucks on a night like tonight.
Prayer has helped me out of tight situations.
Just remember, just because he has been clean for a few years does not mean he has been applying spiritual principals to his life. It takes a lot more than abstinence to change your life.
Recovery is an active change in our attitudes AND behaviors.
Keep comig here, there are some good folks here.
