Are you Thanks … Giving?
Jesus never compares you to anyone else. He never condemns you for all the things you’ve done in your life. He never collects a list of your sins. You mean more to Him than you could ever imagine. The “whole world” is what it took for the Lord to buy you back from your prison … your addictions … your struggles … your unseen anxieties … your middle-of-the-night worries … your every fear and failure. The “whole world” was created through Him and He gave his life in exchange for you. You mean that much to the Father. You mean that much to Jesus. You mean that much to the Holy Spirit. This is real Thanks … Giving. He traded everything about your life for everything that is the life of Jesus. You’ve been cross-traded … creation-traded … whole world traded …. “that’s how much I love you”. Jesus is the Thanks-Giving One … giving thanks for your life … giving thanks over your life … dwelling with thanks-giving in your life. It only takes a moment to breathe in the Thanks-Giving Spirit of Jesus. Your were worth a huge price. So … give thanks with the thanksgiving feast of the love of Christ that has been freely poured into your life.
