You weren’t made to make it by yourself. No one ever does. You can pretend … You can perform … but … you can never purchase a pleasing life. It can only be received from the God-shared life of Jesus. You’ve been started into … called into … and invited into this Son-adventure life. It is a “miraculously given” life. You may stumble, slip, or struggle over many things … but … your Father will never give up on you … never! This is the God-pleasing life: Son-given — Son-invited — Son-received. It is deeply personal and never-forgotten intimacy with Jesus. Life outside of Christ is just continuous pressure. It only takes a moment to renew the Son-shared life … or receive His life as a true promise … a never-forgetting moment…
