I Got What I Got, Cuz I Followed The Right Path

Good Evening and Happy New Year ((((People))))....

I truly understand the reality of having "GIFTS" be bestowed upon all of us today and the reason I say TODAY on December 30th 2008, is because I honestly have given myself the most precious gift ONE could ever ask for in a lifetime.

I Mary Ellen, have acquired the soul purpose of PEACE and SERENITY for today, and would ya believe that these main things have just fallen on an incredible day? I have a birthday today( 12/30), 2 in fact and I am smiling from ear to ear!

On this day, 46 years young, a small child had been born along with several
maladies that took a lonnnnng time getting through in her lifetime, along with jostling through life being as frustrated as anyone would be, to finally give myself the most important gift of all.. 1 YEAR SOBRIETY today.

As you all may not be aware of my hell in this year, losing 2 uncles, and dealing with the whatnots of an aunt who suffers from her own "ISMS" and with Parkinsons..Life has really been a show as it is, and yet I am still learning from each day that is produced.

I have never been more happier than I am today, when I came along here several years ago, through the help of another friend to find tons of LOVE, FAITH, and ENCOURAGEMENT from each one of you.

I will do what needs to be done, walking these walks at slow pace, and taking this ONE STEP, ONE DAY at a time.
