What's a new life look like...?
“God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life. Don’t throw me out with the trash, or fail to breathe holiness in me. Bring me back from gray exile, put a fresh wind in my sails! Psalm 51:10-12 The Message
What’s a new life look like…?
… It looks like your life starting fresh through Jesus. It looks like your life being claimed out of the trash where you thought you belonged because your life-performance wasn’t flawless. It looks like your life “learning” how to worship when you had nothing to offer God but thankfulness. God’s Genesis week is full of God creating His life and love in you and announcing forever that what He has done in you is good. Jesus “crossed” into your “gray exile” of sin, darkness, despair, and self-centered prisons to breathe His holiness into you. Jesus found you in your chaos-shattered moments … your pride-shattered moments … and your heart-shattered moments. A new life is what you long for and it is yours only in Christ. It only takes a moment … a fresh moment … You won’t go unnoticed by the One “ready to love you” today…
“Going through the motions doesn’t please you, a flawless performance is nothing to you. I learned God-worship when my pride was shattered. Heart-shattered lives ready for love don’t for a moment escape God’s notice.” Psalm 51:16-17
