He know of our tendency to make following Jesus about keeping all the rules and attending all the events … and walking away empty and weary. So … He invites you to spend some time with Him so you can “recover your life”. Real rest is found in Jesus. Real work in your everyday life and in your church life is found “walking with” Jesus”. He wants you to learn the “unforced rhythms of grace.” He says that into the world you live in that runs by “forcing” our work and our agendas. But Jesus calls us to a life that is freely lived and freed to live lightly. Are you spending time with Him? Are you really praying or just asking for things? Real rest? Real prayer? Real grace? Real freedom? This is his longing and gift for you … Jesus knows what you are facing and He wants you know and love the grace rhythms that are His to give freely. It only takes moment…
