Talking Hello

Hi, I'm Cindy and I'm an alcoholic and addict. By the grace of God the power of the 12 steps, good sponsorship and good fellowship I have been clean and sober since 1/20/2004. This looks like a great place on the web. I live in Alabama and have 3 kids: 5,9 and 10. Looking forward to making some new friends in recovery.

Hi Cindy

Glad to see you here and hope that you keep coming here and posting. We are sure glad to see you here. I also am an addict (alcohol is a drug) , I had to go back out and see if it got any worse, so now you don't have to. I think that I have like 42 days clean but the most important day is today. Again welcome and OH my you must have your hand full.

Hi Cindy, I'm next door to you in Marietta, GA. My daughter just moved out a few months ago with her three kids and the oldest is 3 years old. I know what 3 babies are like. I have found a lot of great friends in recovery and this site is an integral part of my support system. Welcome.

Cindy
and from me, Felicity, I live in Australia, am clean, 6 half years and grateful recovering alcoholic since jan'06. I have 5 children, 19, 16, 9, 8 and 6. Becoming clean gave me back a life with my children and becoming sober is giving me 'living' with my children. I am very very grateful to have hit the bottom again earlier this year as it's been and is an awesome journey since!!

Look forward to sharing journies with you

& I'm from northeast PA sober since 2/27/87 I have three grown children and two grandsons 8 & 3. It's awesome being a sober parent isn't it? I became a Granny in sobriety. I'm glad to meet you Cindy.
