Preliminary Information on Lodging Accommodations
February 1,, 2009 A Nationwide Recovery Conference with Dick B. Mariners Church Community Center 5001 Newport Coast Drive, Irvine, California 92603 Friday (May 15) through Saturday (May 16) 1. Objective: to give you a preliminary look at lodging accommodations within 5 or so miles of the Conference location at Mariners Church Community Center. 2. Daxton Lyon of our History Fellowship has prepared the enclosed cluster of inexpensive accommodations in the general area. We have made and will be unable to make any special conference arrangements as of now. Furthermore, I understand there are other higher class accommodations in the general area. As further information develops, we will shoot it along. Here is a neat click to get you to our preliminary map and hotel locations graciously prepared for us by Daxton Lyon http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0...n&ie=UTF8&z=13 Press and Hold “control” and left click the link above. 3. Pastor Jim Gaffney, our coordinator who secured the church area for us, will probably be issuing a better set of directions, accommodations, and recommendation to send you. But many want to make their plane and lodging accommodations at this time to save funds and be sure of their locations. 4. As of now, a large number of folks are coming from Canada and various parts of the United States. Several sponsors have sent along substantial amounts that will cover some basic expenses such as the s conference ($3000), the sound system ($800), Website, guidebook printing, and expenses of programs, hospitality. 5. If you are able to donate to Dick B., PO Box 837, Kihei, HI 96753-0837 any amounts from $20.00 to $500.00, we will be able to distribute many more free books, expand sound capability, increase displays, improve hospitality, and pay for the travel expenses of several who cannot otherwise join us. 6. Please remember this conference is free for all who attend; no registration; no reservations or reservation fees; just a guest book and baskets for donations there. God Bless, Dick B., PO Box 837, Kihei, HI 96753-0837; 808 874 4876; dickb@dickb.com www.ANewWayOut.com
