Hi Sara, glad to have you. I have 3 grown kids and 4 grandkids. I got clean and sober when I was 30 years old. That was almost 19 years ago. I am still being taught too. I've heard that we want to stay green and growing and not ripe and rotton. I've been both and growing is the most fulfilling. I think you'll enjoy this site. Poke around and you're bound to find something you can use.

Sarah and from a 'fellow addict'. I'm Felicity, grateful to be clean and a recovering alcoholic. I live in Australia and have 5 children, 19, 16, 9, 8 and 6. Wonderful to have you join us here, parenting solo can be a tough job, even clean and sober, however I am sure you'll find much care and warm support here for yourself in your journey. I have been a single mum also and understand how good and hard it can be. Hang in there, one day at a time and know that we are here for you. Look forward to getting to know you

Hello Sarah. I am also a mom. I have three wonderful children and am very grateful to my recovery. I have only a few weeks clean, but I continue to come in here and go to meetings and becoming stronger. The people in here are wonderful and a great support system. I hope this site works for you as it has for me. I wish you the best.
