Free: The Conference is free! There is no admission charge or registration fee.
Open: The Conference is open to all who are diligently seeking God for help in their recovery (work).
Mission: The Conference has a two-fold mission: (1) To show that God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Bible played major roles in the documented, 75% and 93% success rates (in Akron and Cleveland, respectively) among “seemingly-hopeless,” “medically-incurable,” “real” alcoholics who thoroughly followed the original Akron program developed over the summer of 1935 by A.A. cofounders Bill W. and Dr. Bob; and (2) To help Christian leaders and workers in the recovery arena incorporate accurate information about the roles played by God, Jesus Christ, and the Bible in early A.A.’s dramatic successes into their Christian recovery efforts in order to enhance substantially their effectiveness in working with alcoholics, addicts, and others with life-controlling problems and self-destructive behaviors.

Our Agenda for Conference and for the Pre- and Post-Conference Meetings

Pre- and Post Conference Meetings with Dick B. (by appointment). We would like to discuss: (1) your Christian mission in the recovery arena and how you are carrying that out; (2) how material in The Dick B. Christian Recovery Manual might help you; and (3) how we can work with you to develop effective ways to incorporate our material into your godly efforts.

Two hours of video taping: How Christian leaders and workers might use our new Manual.

A New Way Out Leadership Conference with Dick B.!, Sat., July 18, 2009, 10 AM to 2 PM.
We will spend four hours (broken only by music and hospitality at the beginning, and a lunch break on the premises at noon) with full-participation group sharing and discussion of the goals, plans, projects, and outreach of the International Christian Recovery Coalition.

The Dick B. Christian Recovery Manual will be a major focus of these events.
